Forbidden love

Second part

Soon the lady called out that it was time to get on the plane. We all got on the plane and I sat down. I tried to look around but I couldn't see where Archie was.
"Hey, Veronica was it?" I looked up an saw Nelly stand there.
"Yes, Veronica. And your name is Nelly, right?"
"Yes, and this is my seat next to you" I didn't really know how to react. She sat down next to me and grabbed her phone. I saw that she smiled at something and I glanced at her phone and saw Archie's name on it.
"What are you smiling about?" I asked trying not to sound to suspicious.
"My fiancé, you were talking to him earlier, he just sent me a text telling me he loves me and that it'll be okay"
"Oh, what will be okay?"
"The flight, I hate flying"
"I hate flying too"
"Well, Archie isn't here to hold my hand, so maybe you can" she said and chuckled.
"Sure" I smiled at her.
"How do you know him?"
"Who, Archie?"
"Yeah, you were talking to him earlier and it sorta sounded like you knew him"
"I did, he used to live close to us and he helped my mom with cleaning and stuff like that sometimes. Then he said he was moving and after that I never saw him again"
"He helped you with cleaning? God he really hates cleaning, I can't understand what made him continue"
"I guess there was something that made him come back" I said and laughed. I knew exactly what made him come back.

Flashback, 1 year ago:
"And lastly Archie, here's my daughters room. It's messy all the time so you'll be spending a lot of time in here" my mom said to this older guy I have never seen before. He nodded at me like to say hello and I waved back. I went back to checking my phone. It was June 11th and school had ended a few days ago. My mom was still working and she had gotten us a cleaner, who also was really hot. But of course he was like ten years older than me, so that sucked. I heard my mom open the door. Right after she shouted 'goodbye' to me and then I heard her leave. I stood up from my bed and walked out to the kitchen where I heard that this Archie guy was. He was standing in the kitchen with a bunch of cleaning things in front of him looking very confused.
"Looking for something?" I asked which made him turn around.
"Not really, I have never really cleaned before so I have no idea what to do"
"You have never cleaned before? Aren't you a grown man?"
"Hey, I'm only 23, and I have cleaned. Just not with this much gadgets. I just vacuum I guess"
"Wow, so good that you are our cleaner then"
"I needed the money, I'm planning on going to New-York and study to become a music teacher"
"You're into music?"
"Yeah, why?"
"No reason, I just love music too"
"You play any instruments?"
"Piano and a little bit of guitar, but I mostly sing"
"I play the guitar too, but not that much piano. And the singing part, lets just say my shower is the only one who's heard me sing" I chuckled at his joke. He smiled back at me and I felt my butterflies in my stomach like I was a little eleven year old who had just gotten her first crush.
"You want me to help you clean?"
"Sure, you can teach me"
I walked over to him and started helping him and told him what everything was for. I didn't do much of the cleaning. I just watched him cleaning, which wasn't a bad sight.
"Well I am done cleaning so I should leave"
"Thank you for cleaning our house, it really helps my mom"
"Well thank you for the help and company, you're a real lifesaver Veronica"

Many hours later we arrived in Florida. I had been sleeping most of the plane ride, and so had Nelly. But when we weren't sleeping we had been talking. Nelly was actually really nice, which sucked. We all got our bags and gathered outside of the airport. Every single one of us were jetlagged and personally it felt like my head was gonna explode. They counted to make sure everyone was there and then we got on the hottest bus ever. I had no one to sit next to, so I sat down by myself and put the bag in the other seat.
"Can I sit here?"
Nelly was standing in front of me pointing to the other seat.
"Shouldn't you be sitting next to Archie and the other leaders?"
"I rather sit next to you, they are just talking about sport and other boring stuff"
I moved my bag and Nelly sat down next to me.
"Maybe you can't tell me since you're my leader, but what are we doing at this camp?"
"That is actually a secret, but I like you so I can tell you I guess. The first days are all about getting to know each other. We will talk and say our opinions on things. Then the other eleven days we will just do different things like go to the lake, have competitions and more"
"Sounds fun"
"I can literally hear that you don't mean that"
"Sorry, it's just, my mom made me go here and I never wanted it in the first place so it sorta sucks"
"My mom made me go here too the first time when I was 18, now five years later I am a leader here"
"So what, you're saying that five years from now I will be you?" I laughed at her.
"I guess that is what I am saying" she said and chuckled. Then we didn't really know what to talk about. I saw that she was looking back at Archie "you can go sit with him if you want to"
"Noo it's fine, he's probably tired of being around me. We have been together everyday since we got together"
"How did you meet him?"
"I met him in a bar and fell in love immediately, I'm not sure you get it, but his charm won me over"
"I can imagine" I said, even though I knew exactly what she meant. His charm had won me over too.
