Y/n woke up, noticing that Sam was not there. She sighed, realizing that he might have gone back to the factory to make some money. "Sam, you still here?" She called out, she heard a whimper at the back of the building. Oh no.. She thought, she quickly raced down the old stairs, and saw a bloody mess. She saw Sam, barely clinging onto life. "Sam..? Sam!" Y/n rushed to his side, his arm was broken, no doubt. His had several stab wounds, and he had blood dripping from his mouth. "God no... Samuel..I'll get you some help.." Y/n said, gingerly picking him up, she placed him carefully in a carriage, and whipped the reigns, racing to the hospital. I hope Miss Nightingale is there... She thought, once she arrived, she carried Sam inside. Miss Nightingale was indeed there. "I need help!" Y/n yelled, Florence Nightingale saw Sam, and quickly came over. "Place him here. Careful now.." Y/n did as told. "Can you wait outside, please, Miss L/n?" Miss Nightingale said, Y/n nodded, and went outside. About 15 minutes later, Nightingale came out, a sad look on her face. "I'm so sorry, Y/n...your friend is gone." Y/n stared at her, her eyes wide from under the hood. "No...he..can't be..." Miss Nightingale solemnly nodded, she placed a hand on Y/n's back, trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry..he said he wanted you to have this." She handed Y/n a necklace, a little silhouette of a wolf as the pendant, the wolf was made of alloy, with the markings sapphire, and the eyes rubies. Y/n admired the little necklace, remembering the way she saw Sam laying on the floor. "T-Thank you.." Y/n said, putting on the necklace. A few moments later, she went inside to say her last goodbyes to Sam. "I'm so sorry I couldn't save you..." Y/n muttered, holding the broken child's hand gently. His lifeless body layed there on the cot. She carefully laid his hand back on the cot, and left a little flower she had picked from outside. A forget-me-not. "Thank you..for trying.." Y/n said to Florence Nightingale. "He's in a better place..." Y/n said, then ran out the doors, climbing the side of a building. She saw a Blighter, she punched him across the face, then took her kukri and threw it at his face, it embedded into his forehead, she then flicked her wrist, stabbing another one who had run over to help her comrade. "Oi! You bloody assassin won't live long enough to beg for mer....c....y..." The Blighter said, slowing down and Y/n's hidden blade punctured her abdomen. Y/n retracted the blade, and retrieved the kukri, looted the bodies, and left without trace. She passed by a Templar, who was talking with another Templar. "So I stabbed the li'le bugger and left em to die!" He said, the other replied. "So the little runt begged for you not to kill the Assassin, but himself?" "Yep." Y/n's anger boiled over, she pulled out her gun, firing at the second Templar, a perfect headshot. She then shot the first one's kneecaps, and then ran up, and placed her boot on his chest. "Why did you kill him?" Y/n asked, a dangerous tone in her voice. "What. .do you mean...miss?" "The boy. WHY DID YOU KILL HIM?!" The Templar snickered, though in pain. "Cause the little bugger stole from a cargo shipment." "Well. Now you die more painfully then Sam did." She stepped on his throat, pressing down by putting her weight on that foot. She kept going until she heard a satisfactory crack of his spine breaking. He was still alive, still in pain, but he was paralyzed. He would die in about 5 minutes. She looted the two bodies, and then bolted off. She went to a pub, collecting a bottle, and then buying a pint of rum. She sat at a table by a window, she saw the other assassin from the other night. He was talking with a few other people dressed in green and yellow.
She finished her pint, then walked over to the Assassin. "Why did you follow me the other night?" She spoke, firmly. "Sorry what love?" He said, Y/n repeated herself. "Oh..because you remind me of my old friend, Y/n L/n. She ran off when she found out one of the mentor's died. Y/n froze. She grasped him by the collar of his coat, and pulled him from his chair. "Oi oi watch the coat!" He said. He recognized the Y/n's face, though in shadows, he still knew her features. "Y-y/n?!" He exclaimed, and pulled back her hood. Her h/c hair was tucked in a small bun. Y/n stared him, a depressed look in her eyes. "Y/n! Oh my bloody god! I thought I lost you!" He brought her into a hug, Y/n hugged back, she took in the familiar scent of dirt, leather, and lastly, just Jacob.
Y/n held back tears of regret, sadness, and happiness. "Y/n..I want you to meet, THE ROOKS!" He pulled away, and gestured at his companions. "Evie's gonna be so glad to see you!" He said excitedly. "Love, once you meet our new train bas-...Love...what's wrong?" He noticed the depressed look on her face. "Oh nothing..just had a Templar kill a child I helped out. His name was Samuel. He worked at a factory and I had watched over him for a while." Jacob's eyes softened as she explained. "Love...I'm so sorry..." He said, he took off his top hat and placed it on her head. "I'll make sure that every Templar or Blighter I kill, will be in honor of your friend Samuel." Y/n nodded, a spark of hope igniting inside. "For now, I want you to come and see the train! And meet Greenie, and Clara O'Dea, and Evie...wait you already know Evie..well you should also meet Freddy, and you should also meet-" "Okay okay. There are people you want me to meet. Who's Greenie? And who's Freddy?" Jacob chuckled, and gently lead her by the hand. Just like old times... She thought, they climbed on top of a carriage, and Jacob drove. The Rooks climbed inside. And then they were off, speeding off towards the train station. "So! How was life as a renegade?" Jacob asked, Y/n sighed. "I am not a renegade. You know why I ran away...besides, it was... interesting to say the least." Jacob nodded, a smirk on his face. "I have an idea..." Y/n turned her head to face him, he looked back, a grin formed on his face. "Follow my lead, Rooks, thank you for your service, now I need you to drive this carriage!" With that, Jacob stood and leapt off, landing with a roll, Y/n followed, and then Jacob lead her to a park, Jacob slowed to a stop, and sat down on a bench. Y/n sat down next to him, her hood down. She handed Jacob his top hat. "Thanks love, now look at this. A nice, peaceful park! You still are tense from when we were kids, eh?" He said, "Yeah..." Y/n responded, Jacob looked around, seeing a small patch of f/f (f/f = favorite flower) and picked one, he handed it to Y/n. "Go ahead, relax! Nothing will hurt you when I'm here!" He said, trying to lift her mood. "Thanks.." Y/n admired the flower, carefully spinning it. "Jacob..were you..mad..when you first saw me here in London?" Y/n asked, quietly. "Why would I be mad, Love? If anything I was absolutely shocked that I'd get to see you again. I'm glad I was able to find you again." He smiled, glancing at her. "Tell ya what, if we go buy some of your f/t (favorite tea -if you have a favorite-) from the shops, and then go to the train, will you stop dwelling on the past? That was a long time ago, Y/n." Jacob said, his voice soothing. "Fine.." Y/n whispered, and then placed the flower in her bag in a spot it would not get crushed. "Let's go!" Jacob set, standing, he put out his hand to help her up. She grabbed his hand and stood. "So, I was fighting this Rook, when I saw this crate of nitroglycerin laying near me, so I dropped a match and let it light. I narrowly escaped with my life." Said a Blighter as they passed by. "Wait..sir.. there's the Leader of the Rooks now.." Whispered one of them. "Calm down, runt, just fire a gun and let him fall." Said the first. One of them picked up his gun, and aimed. Y/n saw this, and threw a knife at him. Jacob was nowhere to be seen. He looked around, nervous that his target was now missing. Then Y/n walked up to the Blighter, "Hello there, have you seen Jacob Frye?" The Blighter shook his head, scared. "Because I sure have." She pointed up, just as he looked up, Jacob landed on him, impaling him with his hidden blade. "That's why you don't kill a Rook." Said Jacob, he glared at the dying Blighter from under his hat. "Now. To the store!" They went to the store, and bought some tea. Then they went to the Train. "Evie! Evie! Evie! Evie! Evie! Hi Greenie. Evie! Evie! Evie! Evie!" Jacob said, searching the train for Evie. "What did you do this time, my dear brother?" Evie said from her car, Jacob walked in, and had Y/n behind him. Hidden of course. "Oh nothing. I found Y/n." He stepped to the side, leaving Y/n, she waved. "Hi Evie...long time no see..." Y/n said, Evie stared at her in disbelief. "Y/n...?!" "Yeah ..it's me.." Evie embraced her, then held her by the shoulders. "Y/n L/n. Where in the world have you been??" "Well...long story short..I left. And then had a rough time. And then my friend was murdered. And then you guys showed up." Y/n explained. "I'm sorry for your loss. Have you met Mr. Green yet?" "No I don't believe so.." Evie dragged Y/n halfway across the train to Henry. "Mr. Green, this is Y/n. Jacob and I's childhood friend." "Pleased to meet you, Miss L/n." Henry said, Y/n responded. "Pleased to meet you too, and please...just Y/n is fine." Henry nodded, and then turned to Evie. "Miss Frye, I may have a new lead to the shroud." Evie instantly was by his side, overlooking the papers on the desk. Y/n saw a few. "Evie, Mr. Green, you know that Lucy Thorne also has a lot of leads to it. Along with Crawford Starrick and his colleagues." Y/n said. Henry turned around, eyeing Y/n carefully. "You know about their leads?" Evie said. Y/n replied nervously. "I've eavesdropped on many of his conversations..i-i..uh..was never apart of his meetings..." Jacob closed the doors, becoming suspicious at Y/n becoming less collected and calm at a small question. "Y/n..you wouldn't betray us...would you?" Evie said, Jacob looked hurt, and Henry kept observing every move she made. "....I..I wouldn't...you know I wouldn't...." "Then how do you know Lucy Thorne, and Crawford Starrick?" Evie questioned. "...I..uh... eavesdropped..I swear.." Jacob hid his eyes with his hat. "...uh.." Y/m was now panicking, she quickly dove for one of the doors, breaking it down, she jumped out if the train, landing with a rough roll. She stood, slightly disoriented, her vision blurred for just a second, then she ran. Y/n was scared of being thought of as a traitor. She is a loner, a rogue maybe...perhaps like Shay Cormac though, but without killing comrades and switching sides. "Y/n!" She heard Jacob call out, she was trying to hold back tears, she kept running despite the pain in her side. She turned a corner, and went into an enclosed alley. She slid down the wall, panting hard. She buried her head in her hands, scared. She felt a hand in her shoulder, looking up to see Jacob, she made a small sound of fear, and got up, tears streamed down her face. Just like that one night that Ethan came. Jacob stood, his eyes full of sorrow. "Y/n...they didn't mean to scare you..it's okay.." He said, Y/n was still standing, her thoughts clouded as she tried to think of a way out. "Y/n..?" He said, stepping forward, she stepped back, until she bolted. He followed, she climbed up a building, and lost her footing in the tiled roof. She slipped and was now hanging off the edge of the roof by her hand. She was exhausted from running, so she had to climb down, she jumped into a pile of leaves. And then hijacked a carriage, and sped off to the Thames. She hopped off, and ran down some stairs, then she jumped from boat-to-boat until she was in a boat full of people, she accidentally slipped, and fell against the sidewalls of the deck. "Is she okay?" "Oh my goodness!" "Y/n!" She heard the echoes of voices, as she slipped into unconsciousness. Jacob picked her up, and ordered the captain to dock as soon as possible. "Yes sir." Said the captain, he docked and Jacob carried Y/n off to the train. Once there, he laid her on the couch. "Jacob! What did you do to her?" Evie stormed over, seeing Y/n, a small gash was on the side of Y/n's head. "Oh god..Evie she slipped and fell. What if she remembers it wrong? What if she remembers it as me hurting her?!" Evie sighed, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It's alright, Jacob." Henry walked in a few minutes later, holding a book. "Hello Miss Frye, Mr. Frye," Henry say Y/n laying there, and said. "Is she ok?" Jacob did not respond, but Evie responded with a simple nod and, "She got the wrong idea, thinking that we would attack her for supposedly being a Templar or a traitor to the Brotherhood..so she ran, and slipped." Henry nodded. "Let me know if I can help." He then walked to the next car. Please be okay, Y/n.. Jacob thought, then he dabbed at the the gash with a wet cloth that Evie handed him. Y/n saw a black and gray wolf with golden eyes, it stood a few feet away, it came closer, until it walked into her, then her instincts were amplified, and she remembered seeing Sam's dying form, then her anger burned brighter, and then. She saw Jacob and Evie chasing her. And her fear grew.
She awoke, a sharp pain in her head, she saw Jacob sleeping, and sighed, leaving a note for him saying: (actual note :3)

I am sorry for causing so much trouble. I am going to my hideout. The directions are below.

Go to Westminster, the head to the direction of  Southwark, but do not leave Westminster. There are several abandoned homes, I take refuge in one.
