Y/n sighed, once again being plunged into the blueish white mist of the Animus. As she wandered endlessly, she began to grow depressed, and even anxious, before complete aggression and insanity began to cloud her thoughts. "Perhaps it would be better to go half mute again...and maybe a new change of clothes..." Y/n whispered, noticing her normal clothing had shifted to her ancestor's one. The gray and f/c cloak became so familiar, it was almost uncanny. Holes had started to form over the years. "Right...I can't control how the story goes..." Y/n whispered, knowing that she couldn't change anything about the story even if she wanted to.

Finally, the scene of London filled the air, leaving her standing in the middle of a park, confused for a moment. "Alright...I should probably get new clothes...or at least my original." Y/n said, walking towards a chest in a rather run-down courtyard. She kicked it open, revealing several coins, a brand new cloak, and lastly, a few dozen throwing knives and smoke bombs. She picked up the clock and examined it, looking over the colors. The main color was black and dark gray, the cuffs and collar and trim of the coat were etched with a soft golden color. And to top off the coloring, there was a black and f/c scarf in the chest as well. She quickly changed and adjusted the new scarf, it fit over her face like a mask, only revealing her eyes. She shut the chest, her previous clothes had just disappeared into thin air. Makes sense.. Y/n thought, walking around the streets in her new outfit. "Excuse me Miss, have you seen this woman? She goes by Wolf." A policeman asked, showing her a poster of a sketch. She shook her head, pretending to be mute. "Have you seen her ever? At all?" She simply shrugged and shook her head again. The policeman nodded. "Thank you for your time, Miss." Before he departed, asking other people the same question.

She tensed as a young child pulled on the hem of her coat. Glancing down, an aggressive glare in her eyes. "C-can you help m-my friend?" The child asked, timid. Y/n's eyes softened, nodding. "Where is your friend, kid?" She asked, waiting for the child to answer. "S-she's over here.." The child said, leading the mentally broken Assassin to an alleyway. When Y/n saw the scene before her, her eyes widened in shock. A small child laid in a pool of blood, gashes and cuts all over the small, mangled body. No...not again. Y/n thought, carefully walking towards the child who was barely holding onto life. "Hey...I know your in pain, I can help you." Y/n whispered, comforting the child. The child's friend stood next to Y/n, scared that his friend would die. Y/n glanced at the kid. "What's your name? It would be a bit confusing to call both of you 'kid'." The kid nodded, understanding. "M-my name is James...a-and she's Lilly." Y/n nodded. "James, what happened here?" Y/n asked, James looked at his friend, the light fading from Lilly's eyes. "There were men w-who kept q-questioning her...then t-they became inpatient..and...this.." Y/n nodded. "What did they ask?" Y/n said, noticing there was nothing she could do about Lilly. "They k-kept asking about some shroud of e-eden..." Y/n tensed, looking directly at him. "They asked her about the Shroud? Why?" He averted his eyes, trembling. "W-we were working in a f-factory...I don't know." Y/n sighed, before standing and giving the child a few coins. "James, she's gone. I'm sorry." She said, walking away afterwards. James stared at her in shock, trying to wake his dead friend. "Lilly ...don't l-leave! Please...wake up! W-wake up!!" Lilly remained motionless, her eyes were blank, no light, no life. Y/n kept walking, heading towards the Train. She needed closure, Jacob was mad, Evie was depressed, it was the least she could do. The sun began to set, engulfing everything with shadows. She sighed, boarding the Train. She walked past the black market guy, past a sleeping Rook, past Henry, who glanced at her. "Your back..." He said, wondering if her sanity had come back. Y/n nodded, and kept walking to Evie. "I never thought you'd come back..." Evie said, a sad tone in her voice. "I never thought you'd become like...this." Y/n replied, opening the door to Jacob's train car. "Rise and shine, bud." Jacob looked at her confused, her tone was different. "What are you on about..?" He said, tilting his head slightly. "Nothing, just saying that one of your little friends died today. Yeah one of them was killed because of some Templars demanding answers..." Y/n paused, unsure. Jacob lifted his hand in a gesture for her to continue. "The Shroud." She said it loud enough for Evie and Henry to hear as well, before walking towards the other door to make her escape a quick and quiet one. Evie threw a knife at Y/n, making her stop as her hood was now stuck in the wall by a knife. Evie then came forward, standing a foot away from
Y/n. "I don't believe leaving is an option." Y/n sighed, removing the knife from the wall and her hood, luckily, the hood was fine. "Awfully unwise decision, I could just kill both you and your brother right now. But...she's holding me back." Y/n said, shrugging and looking at the edge of the blade, knowing full well she couldn't take on all three Assassins at once. "Perhaps...we can play a game of hide and seek." Y/n suggested, Evie tilted her head in confusion. "A children's game? You want to play a children's ga-" Y/n cut her off. "A deadly version. When you find your prey...or rather...the target...you either have to incapacitate them or kill them. Either way, the victim has to fight back, it's a matter of life and death. Rules are simple, it's just a children's game with a dangerous gamble." As she explained, Henry looked oddly....fearful. "Oh? We can always just wait out the days until she chooses to kill you all. Killing you off, one by one, as a wolf hunts it's prey...or the opposing pack. But you know, we can also cut not do anything and have our dear Readers on the other side of the screen become bored. Plus, wouldn't the Author of this just get bored as well?" Y/n said, before shrugging. Evie and Jacob looked at her as if she was happily murdering a child. "What Author? What Readers?" Evie asked, Jacob chimed in. "It's not like we're in a story on some magical something of information, a book but not..." Henry chimed in, too. "I'm confused."
"Well, let's start. You can hide anywhere! But once your spotted, you either have to fight them off, or run and just hope nothing bad happens!"
"You're scared and confused,"
Y/n grinned. "Good! Then let the games begin! You're it!" She then jumped out of the Train, landing with a smooth roll and running off towards the Thames, heading towards Westminster and then the City of London. "I've done some things in my life, that you may think are crazy...a little different from the rest...I get my pleasure from the pain.." Y/n whispered into the night, hiding in an underground area, multiple escape routes around her. The ice gave her an advantage in case of need to run. She often did enjoy a game of Cat and Mouse, or rather...Wolf and Rabbit.

Sometimes the smallest things
Eventually turn into large problems.
Create things that would be helpful.
Regrets tend to overtake.
Everything has purpose... you know.
Those who are loyal to the Creed..

Of course...you would be, right?
For right now, it doesn't matter.

Midnight often strikes at 12.
Is it true for someone to die?
Nobody really cares, about that.
Everyone would be devastated...

Perhaps I spoke too soon, perhaps...I have spoken too much.
