Y/n laid passed out on the couch, Evie was writing in her journal, Henry was reading a book, and Jacob...stumbled in half drunk and bandaged. "Evieeeeeeeeee!" He yelled, startling Y/n awake. "Oh goodie! The pupperrrs is here!" He laughed, Evie stormed into the car and grabbed Jacob's hand, half dragging half leading him to a bed, pushing him onto it and taking his top hat and putting it onto the hat/coat rack. "Jacob...what have you done this time?" Evie asked, obviously annoyed. "Welligotintothisfight.....*hic* and I losd to this poorrrr ol bloke..then the pupper arrived and helped *hic* me...thens I went backstothepub...and tookout the bloke!" Jacob explained in a slurry of words and hiccups. "And?" Evie demanded. "And I had a couple dozens of beer!" He said triumphantly, lifting his fist into the air proudly as he stood on the bed. "Jacob! GET OFF THE BLOODY BED!" Evie yelled, startling her drunken twin. "Awuh...always ruinin the fun, aintcha?" Jacob slurred, he then ran to the window of the train car, opening it and puking outside of the train. Evie walked up and patted his back. She sighed and saw Y/n standing at the doorway, groggy. "Mind if I just borrow this?" Y/n said, taking Evie and Jacob's pistols from a nearby table. "You two best find your place before I show it to ya." She said and climbed on the roof of the train. Evie sighed angrily, then left her puking brother to go retrieve the pistols. "You've become nothing but a bloody nuisance since we found you!" Evie yelled and took her kukri from her belt. "Is it my fault that I'm broken? IS IT MY FAULT YOU BOTH LEFT ME TO DIE?" Y/n screamed. Evie was taken aback by the sudden outburst. "We never left you to die! Have you gone mad?!" Evie exclaimed. "PROBABLY!" Y/n screamed again, taking the pistol and putting it up to her temple. "Maybe if I die...your lives would be better." Y/n was about to press the trigger when Evie tore the gun from her hand, as well the other. "What's wrong with you!" Evie yelled, forcing Y/n to the ground. Evie saw nothing but a shattered mind in Y/n's eyes. They were like broken glass, fragments of sadness, fear, anger, confusion...and innocence. "Y/n..." Evie felt a sudden pang of guilt. Evie was momentarily distracted, until she saw a sudden change in Y/n's features, they went from a shattered mind...to a murderous glare. "Get off me." Y/n said, a dangerous tone in her voice. "No." Evie replied. "Get. Off. Me." Y/n said, threateningly. "Y/n...no, you calm down first." Evie said and held her to the floor firmly. Y/n rolled to the side, breaking her grip and lunged forward in an attempt to shove Evie off the train, Y/n hesitated before kicking her off. "I-i can't..." She whispered, turning away and wiping a tear from her eyes. She started to run, grabbing hold of a sign and trying to climb up. She slipped from the ice coating the sign. Evie then dragged Y/n to the edge and shoved her inside the train. She sealed the doors and only Y/n, Evie and Drunken Jacob were inside the car. "Pupppperrr.." Jacob said and rolled over on the bed, half asleep.
Y/n, however, glared at him and then at Evie. "I could kill you right now. Both of you." Y/n grumbled, walking over to Jacob. "Venerable...drunk...won't feel a thing~." Y/n said in a whisper, springing out her blade, barely grazing the edge of his abdomen as Evie shoved her aside. Y/n started laughing, now laying spread-eagle on the floor. Her eyes had a look of pure insanity. Y/n slowed her laughter to a mere chuckle. "You think I'd kill him? Nah I was just joking with ya! But your shove hurt him...so it wasn't entirely my fault." Y/n said, Evie stood above Y/n, a look of sorrow upon her features. Y/n went quiet, then averted her gaze, the grin on her lips faded to a blank expression. She had a sudden flashback of her childhood..

"C'mon Y/n! Race ya to that alley!" Jacob yelled, racing towards the alley. Y/n grinned. "You're on!" And began racing against him. Evie was practicing with Jake. Jacob ran into the alley and triumphantly laughed. "Good race, Y/n!" He said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

Later that morning..

"Y/n...this is a good life we have...let's hope it never changes." Y/n nodded, smiling. "To an even better future!" She yelled happily, raising her cup of water. Jacob raised his and they clinked glasses. They drank some of their water and laughed.

A few hours after..

"Y/n...would you ever...betray the Assassins if you absolutely had too?" Jacob asked, staring thoughtfully through the window. "Not even if my life depended on it." Y/n said, leaning into her chair. Jacob nodded, still distracted. "Hey, why don't we go practice free-running?" Y/n suggested, Jacob nodded, still slightly wondering if Y/n would abandon her Creed.

A few days later...

Evie knocked on Y/n's room door. She got out of her bed, groggy and dressed. She opened the door, Evie walked inside. "Y/n...it's Jake..." "What about him?" Y/n asked. "He's....he's dead Y/n...Jake died." She explained. "I'm sorry.." Evie tried to comfort her. Y/n pushed past her and went to his room, opening the door. Her eyes widened. "No...he can't be..." She quickly bolted off, towards the train station. As she ordered a ticket and boarded the train...she saw something in the shadows...a wolf-like figure. She rubbed her eyes and saw it was just a bag.

Y/n snapped back to reality, it had been four hours, Y/n was in a daze.
Evie had already fell asleep on the chair, Y/n saw Jacob fast asleep on the bed, she sighed and fell asleep soon after.
