Y/n stepped out from the bathroom after her shower.  She was wearing a new pair of black jeans and a f/c t-shirt.  Of course, her hidden blade was on her wrist.  She was in the middle of putting on her modern-assassin-long-as-heck-coat when Shaun made eye contact, noticing that she didn't seem ... Aggressive like she normally would be.  "Do you need something...?  Also you're spilling your coffee everywhere." Y/n said, smirking as Shaun had failed to notice the piping hot liquid pouring onto his trousers and shirt.  He cursed under his breath and placed the cup down. "For a skilled 'expert decoder and assassin' you sure know how to drink things."  Y/n said, pouring herself a cup of joe and sitting across from him.  "You seem...odd.  Did something happen while you were in there?"  Shaun said quietly, observing her taking a sip of the hot bean water.  "How did you know I left-?"  Y/n breathed, her voice barely a whisper as her eyes widened.  Shaun tilted his head, did he hear her right?  She left the building??

"Excuse me?" Shaun replied, astonish laced his words. "You left the building without permission?" Y/n froze, a sudden urge to throw the mug of coffee with as much force and power as she could muster-  No no...she must stay calm.  Gain his trust again..

"Maybe I should go back to London..."  Y/n said, adding on in a worried voice "I didn't leave...I went up the building...but I didn't leave so-"  She was so rudely interrupted by Shaun slamming his mug against the table. "You LEFT the apartment...Why did you ever think tha-"  Her turn to interrupt. "Ah-ah-ah.  You said I couldn't leave the building.  The roof is simply an extra floor without walls or a ceiling so I technically did not leave as you say I did.  So no, I am right, I did not leave.  I'm going to London and if you even try to pull me out or stop me I will not hesitate (she activated her hidden blade, for theatrical purposes and to really drive the point home) to harm you in my own defense."  Her tone was cold and calculating.  She was right and he knew it.

"Y/n you can't possibly think that's a good idea-"

"Shhh.  Let me find something."  She stood and started to rummage through the cabinets and drawers before Shaun finally asked: "What are you looking for?"

Trap-card.  "When I asked for your opinion, bitch" Y/n smiled, flipping him off and walking to the Animus.  She laid down and submitted herself to the world that of which lived inside the Animus. This time...the air was chilled and her breath was creating a thin mist in front of her.  She was on a church tower?  She shrugged off the thought and leapt from her perch.  Her arms were spread to the side and her legs stiff and locked together as she plummeted down into a pile of hay.  She hopped out and brushed hay pieces from her coat and hair as she jogged towards the nearest train station- which happened to be right around the corner.  Without a ticket, she hopped on and took a seat at the back of the train.  She wanted to find her old friend, Helen, and see if any new bounties were available.  Though Helen usually stationed herself at the Waterloo station and Y/n was far from there.

There was a young child and her father, the child seemed about nine or maybe ten, while her father appeared to be in his late thirties.  "Oh papa, did you see the Wolf while you were out?  Are they dangerous like everyone says??"  The little girl seemed ecstatic to be on this train, bouncing on her heels and asking questions about her father's travel.  "Oh my dear Amelia, of course I did not see the Wolf about.  And yes, they could be considered dangerous as others see them as noble."  The child, Amelia, went quiet for a moment, before resuming her energetic bounce and relentless onslaught of questions and childish observations.  "What do they look like?  Other kids say they wear a cloak and nobody who's seen their eyes are ever the same!  They even carry weapons!"  Her father looked at the child, dumbfounded by the information the nine-year-old knew.  "Do not tell stories, Amelia, nobody can be scared by another's gaze."  Her father accidentally locked eyes with Y/n, his face paled when his eyes fell upon her necklace.  "It's really her...those broken eyes everyone talks about...the cloak.."  The child turned her head, her grin widening and her bounce accelerating.  "It's her!!"  Y/n chuckled, raising her hands in a way to say 'please calm down I don't want people staring'.  The father seemed slightly flustered, trying to make a good impression.  "I apologize for my daughters behavior..ever since you made headlines she's been obsessed with being like you.  My name is Geoffrey Darbs, and this is my daughter, Amelia Darbs."  Y/n nodded, shaking his hand.  She knelt down to Amelia. Smiling softly at the innocence before her, before removing a flower from a nearby display and placing it in the child's hair.  "I can tell you'll be a great young woman, Amelia.  Try not to get caught up in past mistakes and memories...move forward."  With that, she ruffled the child's hair and stood to her full height.  "Thank you..!!!" Amelia said, looking like she was trying to not explode as Y/n walked off the train onto the Waterloo platform and towards her friend, Helen.

"I've got some knew leads on a Templar recruit, if you'd like to hunt once more." Just the knees Y/n wanted to hear. "I'll take it.  Dead or alive?"  Helen smirked, handing Y/n a piece of paper as Y/n paid her with ten shillings. "Dead, and preferably silently.  Try to spook the Order, you know."  The Wolf nodded, completely unaware of the young Amelia Darbs who had been tailing her.  The broken assassin walked off, heading to the first alleyway she saw after leaving the station.

"Right about...here."  The Wolf mumbled, taking a mental note of where she was.  The target would be here tonight at midnight managing cargo.  There was a noise of some small crates being tipped over -  Somone was following her.  Her breathing slowed, her hands twitched as she listened for any other movements.  She whipped around, pinning her pursuer to the ground with a hidden blade to their throat.

"A-Amelia...why aren't you with your father at the station?"  The child shivered, smiling sheepishly and eyeing the blade with nervousness.  "I-I just wanted to f-find out where you go.."  Y/n tensed, was this a trick?  Nonsense...its a child..Surely the Templars aren't using children to spy on them?

"Go back to the station, Amelia." Y/n said, releasing the child and sheathing the blade.

Amelia stamped her foot, attempting to grab her robes in a protest to stay.  That was, until Y/n locked eyes with her and growled. "Don't." Amelia faltered, before running off to the station. The Wolf noticed a look of spite in the child's eyes before she ran off.  Turns out, the younger of the Frye twins was watching the whole thing and sighed lightly.  He followed after the child to make sure she would make it home safely.

Y/n waited, passing the time by participating in bar fights and games.  She went to retrieve her pocket watch, her hands patting an endless supply of pockets before finally pulling out the watch and checking the time.  11:57

She placed the watch into a different pocket, and left the pub.  It was time to start the hunt, after all.  She scaled the walls of the alleyway and waited in the rooftop for her target to come by.

This would be a long night, no doubt.
