"Catch them!!" Evie yelled as they both chased after Y/n. Y/n ran up the side of a building, and leapt across gaps. She climbed to the top of a tall building, turning around to face the two Assassins. "Why did you attack?" Evie said, stepping forward, Y/n smirked, her hood hiding her eyes. "Sayonara." Y/n said, then crossed her arms on her chest, falling backwards off the building. She twisted mid air and landed in a haycart. She hopped out and hid in the shadows as Evie and Jacob ran to the edge, trying to find her again. "She just fell off the building.." Evie said, Jacob finished her sentence. "A signature Y/n move.."
Jacob's eyes widened, then he jumped off the building into the haycart. He jumped out and triggered his eagle vision to track where the Assassin had gone. "Oi! Rooks! Let's stir up some trouble.." He said, a group of nearby Rooks nodded and took to his side. "We riddin' London of mor' Blighters t'day?" One of them asked. "No no..well... possibly..but you guys know of this assassin-like person who just ran past here, right?" Another nodded. "Yeah I've seen them before." Jacob smirked, then ordered them off to go find the assassin. "Now...where did you go..?" He looked at the ground, there were footprints in the mud, he followed them and they lead to a few blood splatters. He looked at the blood for a moment, then saw a Rook's hat. He sighed. "Whoever is doing this clearly doesn't like my Rooks.." He hijacked a carriage and followed the carriage tracks. He was riding for around twenty minutes, before he saw the assassin dragging the Rook's body into an alleyway. He bolted over to the alley. "Oi!" He yelled out, and Y/n threw a knife in his direction. She pulled out her pistol and put it to the Rook's head. Her voice was raspy from not talking often. "He dies if you come closer. Best you leave now." She hissed, and Jacob stepped back for a moment, a pleading look in the Rook's eyes. "Let him live." Jacob said, Y/n retaliated. "Hm...perhaps he will live..but he might die just as easily." Jacob clenched his fist, and drew his pistol, the barrel pointing at Y/n. "Do that and you die." Jacob said, mad. "Shoot me and I shoot him." Jacob sighed. Y/n smirked and shot the Rook anyway, and then ran up the side of the building. She was leading him to the Slum. "Bloody bas-" "JACOB FRYE" Evie yelled and smacked him. He gave an exasperated sigh and looked around, looking for where Y/n had gone. "Evie..Evie..Evie..." He said, poking her arm playfully. "What is it, my oh so precious brother of mine?" Jacob sighed, then dragged her towards a narrow alleyway, Y/n was leaning against the wall, bandaging her arm, several cuts bled as she tried to bandage it. Evie smirked, then pointed at herself, the building, him and then Y/n. Jacob nodded in response and start sneaking up on
Y/n.

Y/n flicked her gaze onto Jacob as he was stalking up to her. "Okay...don't run..?" Jacob pleaded, Y/n chuckled, and threw a smoke bomb, running up the side of the building. Evie grabbed her and threw her onto the roof. Y/n gasped for air as it was all knocked out of her. Y/n stood, shaking slightly. She threw several knives at Evie, Jacob popped his head up, then dropped down to avoid being stabbed through the eye. After a few moments of Evie and Y/n fighting, Y/n managed to kick Evie off the edge, Jacob caught her by the hand and helped her up to a ledge of which he resided for the time being. "Jaysus Evie.." Jacob said as he threw a voltaic bomb, momentarily stunning Y/n. "Alright, we go...NOW" Jacob said and leapt up, he tackled Y/n, pinning her down. Only her left arm was free. The one with the blade. Y/n sprung out the blade, about to stab him through the throat. Evie then threw a knife at Y/n's hand, Y/n moved her hand so the blade did not do a thing to her, instead, it sliced into Jacob's arm. His eyes widened and he winced. "Damnit Evie! Aim for something HELPFUL. NOT MY BLOODY ARM!" He rolled off of Y/n, clutching where the knife stuck out, he tried to compress the bleeding. Y/n stood, and drew her pistol, she aimed at Jacob's head. "Step closer, he dies, simple as that really." Y/n said, tilting her head. Evie recognized the voice. "Y-Y/n...you..would kill him..?" Evie stood in shock, her hood down, her green eyes tearing up. "I'm afraid Y/n isn't here at the moment, she's resting. Not dead, but asleep. This is the Wolf. Not Y/n." Evie stood there, a loss for words. "Y/n..." Jacob said, struggling to speak from the pain. "I should've known you swapped sides...aheh.." He chuckled, and then pointed his own gun at her leg. "But..I know your tricks.." He shot her leg, she fell as pain began to shoot through her body. She shot her pistol several times at him, every bullet was blocked by one of Evie's knives. Evie ran up, and kicked Y/n on the chest, making her fall backwards. She planted a foot on her abdomen. Holding her still. Y/n's eyes had a blank look. "Y/n...what have they done.." "Wouldn't you just love to know?" Y/n gave her a lopsided grin, and then Evie pressed down on her throat, Y/n struggled and fought, her fighting became more and more sluggish until she eventually passed out. Evie then made sure she was knocked out, before checking on Jacob. "Jacob.." She saw her brother crying quietly. "Jacob...?" He remained laying there, crying. "E-Evie...she betrayed us...I thought o-of her as another s-sister..." Jacob choked, Evie knelt down and hugged him gently. "It's over now... its okay Jacob..she's just asleep..we can help her.." Jacob kept crying, she understood why. Y/n laid motionless.

After a few minutes, Jacob regained his composure. Y/n stirred, opening her e/c eyes slowly. Evie was ready to strike, Jacob still looked sad. "Uh...why am I on a roof.." She looked at them for a moment, before attempting to run off. Jacob grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her in for a hug. Y/n stood still, not remembering him. "Y/n..." He said softly, and held her close. Y/n was mentally freaking out, not knowing what to do, she broke free of his grasp, and ran. She hesitated, not jumping into a haycart. She looked behind her. "I-im...sorry...I'm not sure...who I've become..."
