One week after Y/n's last encounter with Jacob.

Y/n walked through a busy crowd, she stopped at one of the fruit stands and quickly swiped an apple, before blending back into the crowd and walking away. She turned a corner, accidentally running into a man with a hat, brown hair with a beard/mustache. He wore black work pants and a cream undershirt with a brown vest with brass buttons. Something about his features was familiar...
"Terribly sorry..Miss...I hope I didn't cause any trouble.." He said, Y/n recognized the voice and tensed up. "It is quite alright sir...I best be on my way no-" She stopped as she saw Jacob across the way, she then dropped the apple and ran. The man then ran after her. "Damnit Abberline." Y/n whispered under her breath as she ran. She easily and quickly scaled a building, jumping off into a haycart, then hopping out and sitting down on a bench. Abberline rounded a corner near the bench, out of breath. "Aw...I guess I was too late." He trailed off, before walking up to Y/n. "Y/n L/n, a.k.a the Wolf. You are under arrest for multiple murder and theft, as well as attacking officers." Y/n chuckled, leaning back on the bench, relaxed. "First off, those 'murders' were Templars, and those who were my prey." She smirked lazily. "Second, the theft...yeah ya got me there..." She chuckled. "And third..they attacked me for walking past them. WALKING. PAST. THEM." Y/n raised her voice to a yell, standing. "Did they die? No. Did I attack them with the intention of killing them? No, depends really. Was I slimply defending myself? YES. GOD FORBID WALKING PAST THEM." She yelled again, walking away from Abberline, he quickly grabbed her hood and stopped her from leaving. "Oh I see...would you like a broken arm?" She said, turning to face him. "Miss L/n. Come with me peacefully and no harm will be done." Abberline said, the tightened his grip. Y/n tensed, then twisted his arm into a lock. She shoved him into some boxes, running off. "Ya had your chance." Jacob muttered from a rooftop. "And now it's mine." He said as he trailed her from above. He slowed to a stop when he lost her among a large crowd and maze-like buildings. "Damnit." He said, and quickly looked around again. Y/n had walked into an alleyway after losing Jacob. She heard some talking, and eavesdropped. "Mr. Frye said to watch for the Wolf.." one of them said. Another replied. "I know, but we're dead if she catches us! They say she kills everyone who gets in her way..." The third one, then spoke. "Yes but she was an Assassin...do you think she turned Templar?" He said concerned. The first one then laughed. "I doubt it, from what Mr. Frye says, she was very loyal to the Creed, John." The third one, John, then remained quiet. The second one then spoke. "We best be on our toes then, we dunno if she is waiting to kill us now.." the first one then replied. "Mary...thank you. Now we're all paranoid.. God bless this woman who made the rest of us paranoid." Mary chuckled. (If that is the name you had chosen as 'Y/n', you may change this Rooks name) Y/n couldn't help but smile at their behavior. She stood and walked around the corner, right at the Rooks. "Oi! There she is!" The first one said. "I can bloody see who it is, Clyde!" Mary yelled, and then they started to squabble. "Well, seems that this Rook here is my first Prey." Y/n said, pinning John to the wall, she smirked, and was about to drive her blade through his throat, when suddenly she stopped, stepping back and releasing him. Her breath hitched and she quickly ran off, unable to think clearly. What was I doing?!? She mentally scolded herself. She accidentally pushed a man into the Thames, the chilled air making it hard to breathe. She quickly covered her mouth and nose with her scarf and kept running. She almost slipped as the icy rain started to pour down. She ran along the Thames, before slipping on some ice and landing face first onto the cold cobblestones. She landed on her arms, decreasing the amount of pain from the fall. She laid there for a moment, catching her breath as a small child walked up to her. "A-are you alright, M-miss?" He said, she tried to say yes, but with her lungs burning all that came out was a weary groan. The child wanted to help, but didn't know how. She laid there long after the child had run off, the rain had started to soak through the warm layers of her coat. She shivered and stood, shaking as she walked about a quarter of a mile to a factory. She snuck inside and laid in a dark corner, trying desperately to warm up in the bitter frost. Her clothes were now soaked all the way through, her vision darkened as she passed out from both exhaustion and the cold.

Four hours later, she awoke on a rather comfy bed.  "Oh praise the Lord! She's alive!!" A lady yelled happily, and rushed over to her side. "Kinda creepy...watching me sleep like that..." Y/m said and tried to get up quickly, her head pounded in protest, but she stood out of the bed. "Miss you shouldn't get up yet...we found you half frozen to death! I suggest you rest up." The lady said, Y/n gently declined the offer. "My apologies but...I must go." Y/n said and started searching for her coat. "Your coat is currently drying..I promise it will be nice and warm and dry in about an hour or two!" The lady replied, then realized she never introduced herself. "My sincere apologies, I never introduced myself..I am Rachel Lynn, (again, if your name was Rachel then go ahead and change it.) My husband Thomas Lynn is currently out at work... he's the one who found you in the factory!" Rachel said. "Pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Lynn.." Rachel then chuckled. "The pleasure is mine, and please...just Rachel is fine." Y/n nodded, and then spoke. "My name is Y/n..." She didn't want to share her last name, in fear they might turn her in. "Thank you...for rescuing me..." Y/n said, sitting down onto a nearby chair as a wave of dizziness hit her. "Here, I'll go make some tea. What kind would you like?" Rachel asked, waiting by the door. "I'm fine with anything, thank you.." she smiled and nodded, assuring Rachel. "Alright then, I will be right back." Rachel then left Y/n by herself, she sighed and held her head in her hands. I almost killed an innocent man...God ..I've killed many innocent people...what have I become, but a monster? She thought. "I don't even remember much of my past...what the hell is wrong with me?!" She accidentally yelled out  part of it. Rachel called from the kitchen. "Are you alright?" She replied. "Yes I am fine...just...blurted something out." Rachel was silent after that, and so was Y/n. Y/n felt trapped, and tried to ignore the feeling, she picked up a book off a shelf and began to read it.
