Y/n nodded, accepting the invitation to live in the train with them. "Thank you.." Jacob chuckled, and helped Y/n gather what little she had. "Jacob," Y/n said, "I wonder what would happen if we didn't tell her about my panicking..?" Y/n wondered, Jacob smirked. "She'd probably be mad, why do ya ask, love?" He replied, "I dunno...just popped up.." She heard a scream, followed by a sickening crack and a horse's whinny. She rushed to the broken window, and saw a carriage was broken, and a horse layed in it's side in a spooked state. She also saw several Blighters. "Oh you little.." She trailed off, and then leapt out the window, and double assassinated two of them, and then dodged a bullet, threw her kukri at one, and then stabbed another in the throat with her hidden blade. She then retrieved the kukri, using the Blighter's shirt to wipe off any blood. Jacob watched in awe as she moved from one enemy to the next in a flurry of movements. "Oi! Why don't I come over there and teach you a lesson!" Yelled a lone Blighter. "Fat chance." Y/n muttered, and ran up a wall, and leapt off last second, impaling the Blighter with her blade. She then looted the bodies and unstrapped the horse best she could, seeing that the driver had broken his neck. So that was the snap I'm guessing.. Y/n thought. Jacob had jumped out the window and walked up next to her. "Horse is fine, can't say the same for the driver.." Y/n muttered. She then double checked her bag, finding everything in the correct spot. "So, now to go to the train, eh?" Y/n asked. "Aye" Jacob replied. They hijacked two carriages, and raced. "Faster! Cmon girl!" Y/n called to her horse, Jacob's calls could be heard over the trotting if whooves. "That'a girl...who's a good horse? You are." Y/n swerved to avoid a child standing in the road in shock of the incoming carriage. "Watch out!" Y/n yelled, as she swerved, the carriage tipped over, launching Y/n a few feet. She remained motionless as she hit the cobbles with a soft thud. "Not again...Y/n!!" Jacob said, and hopped off the carriage, quickly running over and assessing any damages. "Y/n..can you hear me?" He said, and then picked her up. "Damnit...Y/n.." He muttered, and then carried Y/n to the nearest medical place. "I need help!" He yelled, a few nurses peeked from their posts, and quickly ran over. "What's happened?" "Is she ok?" "Frye what did you do this time?" The nurses bombarded Jacob with questions, which he quickly dismissed and asked for assistance. They took Y/n to a room, and a few minutes later came back out. "She's stable now, but she cannot remember what happened. She appears to have a mild concussion." Said the first nurse, the second one joined in. "She will need lots of rest, and do not try to jog her memory too fast. That could cause problems mentally." The third one nodded, agreeing with the other two. Jacob ran into the room, and went to the side of her bed. "Y/n..?" "Uh...I think so..." She said, she had a confused look on her face. "Y/n..do you remember me?" She studied his face for a long moment. "I know you...I just...can't remember how.." Jacob's eyes saddened. "Oh..does the name, Jacob Frye, sound familiar?" "...sorta.." She said. "Are...you Jacob Frye?" Jacob nodded, and embraced her in a gentle hug. "The...the nurses said that I have a mild concussion...from...what?" "You...were in a carriage crash..." Jacob said, Y/ns eyes widened. "Oh shoot.." She tried to get up quickly, a wave of dizziness washed over her. "Easy now..you shouldn't do that...love" Jacob said, He pulled up a chair, "The nurses told me you will be regaining your memory..soon." He said sadly. Two accidents in less then a month.. He thought, and Y/n tried to get up again. "I-I..can't be here... they're gonna look for me.." She panicked, and quickly tried to get up over and over. "Hey...Y/n...you can't just yet.." "I can walk bloody fine!!!! I just..need to get up first.." Jacob sighed, and helped her up. "Nothing's gonna convince you to stop..." She stumbled, and did her best to move across the hallways until she was outside. "Wait..." She froze, and looked at her hands, then back at the trees and grass and cobbles around. She saw a carriage riding past, and she stared at it in fear, then she bolted the other way despite the dizziness and headache. "Y/n! Wait!" Jacob called, easily catching up. "I..need...my..hood." She flipped up her hood, then kept going. Jacob kept chasing after her. She rounded a corner, finding places that seemed familiar. Jacob saw her stumbling again, and just scooped her up. Carrying her back to the train.
