Chapter 23: Captured

Gabriel had said he would be back over in a few minutes, what was taking him so long? I sat up and yanked the headphones out of my ears. It was so eerily quiet. I stood up and walked over to my window. His was closed and the lights were off. I listened closely. There was no water running so he wasn't in the shower, and it looked like he wasn't in his bed. I crept downstairs and out the front door. The door to gabriel's house was slightly ajar and the light was on in the kitchen. I walked in and looked around. There was no one there. I knew his dad was upstairs sleeping so I could hear him snoring. I quietly walked around the kitchen and saw a note. The word dad was in gabriels hand but the rest was a poor imitation of Gabriel's writing. The note said

Dad, I am sorry but I can no longer take it here in Serenity. I'm taking off for a while and I don't know when I will be back. Please don't come looking for me. I will write as soon as I figure out what I am going to do. Love you

It was someone else's hand handwriting, that was obvious and it was made to look like Gabriel ran away. I looked a little more around the kitchen. I found his keys in the dish and his wallet in the same drawer in the kitchen he always puts it in. He would have never ran off without those. He wouldn't have ran off at all without telling me. Some one had taken him. I grabbed Gabriels wallet, shoved it in my back pocket and ran out of the house carefully closing the door behind me. I ran across the lawn and right into Fein. Perfect just perfect another obsticale
"Where are you going in such a hurry, Ivy." He says leaning against the house in front of me, blocking my way to the garage. I tried to push past him but he wasn't moving.
"Get out of the way, Fein. I have to go." I say baring my fangs at him. He faked being scared for a second then straightened back up.
"What's wrong your little human finally couldn't take it and told you to leave him alone?" He asks a sly grin on his face. he almost looked like he was enjoying himself.
"No, you incompetent fledgling. He has been kidnapped. I know who it was too. I'm going to find him. I will be back soon. If you don't see me in a day or two...look for the local wolf pack. Now get out of my way!'' I say shoving him hard. He didn't budge.

"I can't let you do that, Ivy. It's too dangerous. I think it best if you just forget about him. He isn't worth your time." He says grabbing my wrist. I pulled back and swung my fist as hard as I could. It made a satisfying crunch on the side of Feins head. He crumbled to the ground and didn't get back up. It didn't kill him, it just knocked him out for a good amount of time. By the time he woke up I hopefully would have already returned with Gabriel and maybe even Ravens head on a stick. I opened the garage and peeled out of it as fast as I could .

Raven had been tracing her finger tip over Gabriels chest waiting for him to wake up. When he finally came to he was groggy.
"Ivy? What happened?" Ivy? IVY? What was with him and Ivy? Raven growled.
"No, Ivy isn't here anymore. It's just gonna be you and me and the rest of the pack. No one knows where you are. They all think you ran away from home. No one is going to come looking for you. You are all mine now. " She purred into his ear before nipping his ear lob. He cringed and moved with almost inhuman speed to get away from her.

"That is a lie. Ivy will come for me. She isn't going to believe your little lie. Neither will her mother. They both know I would never leave Ivy like that, and Raven kidnapping is not cool." He says sitting up taking in his surroundings.
Raven laughed. "Just you wait. When I turn you into a werewolf on the peak of the Lunar eclipse you won't have a choice to be my mate and join my pack. Ivy would neve want you after that. " She had completely lost it.

Gabriel tried to move his arms one was free but one could only move just a bit from where it had been originally when he woke up.Turning his head he saw his left arm chained to the roots of what looked like a very big tree.Panick started to swell up inside him, he was being held hostage and they even went as far as to restrain him. It got him thinking just how many people were in on Raven's scheme. For now he was just going to have to wait listen and hope Ivy would get there soon.
