New Day New Kendall

When I woke up that morning I was still laying on the couch where I had slept to give Kendall some space after checking on him. It was almost noon when i noticed everyone was gone. I guess I had overslept and missed their TRL live performance today. I felt awful about it but there was nothing I could do about it since they left me.

I got up and noticed a card on the counter beside the microwave and a bouquet of sun flowers they were my favorite. It was from Kendall, I was still a little aggravated at him for the way he acted the night before and the way he was with James but I couldn't ignore this incredibly sweet gesture. I read the card aloud since I was here alone.

I'm sorry for acting like a jerk and for getting fussy and being a mean drunk..
You didn't deserve that, you mean to much to me for to be treating you so horribly.. please forgive me.

P.S.
James and I had a long talk this morning. I apologized for everything and we talked about our relationship... he is just looking out for you and I need to realize that he's basically all the family you got. I'll try not to bring him up anymore. He's too good of a friend to lose.

The message he had written inside of the card had definitely made me feel better. Especially knowing he and James had came to some sort of understanding  but that didn't mean that he and I still didn't need to have a long talk.

About and hour later the boys came back to the bus with TRL swag bags and James had snagged me one as well.

"Here sis, I'm sorry we let you miss it... you seemed really tired though" he said handing me the bag and giving me a hug. "It's okay. I was I didn't even hear yall get up this morning" I said looking at Kendall who kept staring at me with his hair in one of his eyes.

"We're about to get a bite to eat? Do you want to go with us? Before the bus takes off?" James asked me I shook my head yes and grabbed a pair of shoes. When Kendall came up to me as I was getting ready to get off the bus.

"Can we talk real quick?" He said flashing those green eyes at me with his hands in his jean pockets. "Uh yeah, want to walk and talk?" I said and he agreed, we followed behind the others slowly.  Carlos, Logan and James were all goofing off in front of us.

"Did you get my flowers? And the card?" Kendall asked as he walked patiently at the same pace as I was. "Yes I did... it was sweet...." I said drawing out a long pause in between my answer and a smile. "I really am sorry for acting like such a jerk face." He said looking up at me with a facial expression of sadness. I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed his hand out of his pocket and started walking hand in hand with him.

"It's okay... just maybe we shouldn't drink so much next time?" I said trying to sound coy and not entirely to serious because I didn't want to sound bossy. He laughed "absolutely it's a new day and a new Kendall.. drinking is not for me!" He said pulling me close to him to kiss him. "I really am sorry for acting that way towards you.. " he said looking me straight in the eyes. It was all I could do not to melt when he looked at me the way he did with sincerity. "It's okay let's just forget about the whole thing!" I said forgetting anything had ever happened. Kendall pulled me in and gave me a tight squeeze of a hug. I saw Logan looking back towards me giving me a goofy grin and waving. I waved back and Kendall noticed, "oh damn their all waiting for us we need to catch up!" He said dragging me along with his speed as we ran to catch up to them.

It was nice seeing Kendall and James get along again. I just hoped they would stay this way, and stop being so dramatic about everything pertaining to me. I do have a voice and I can speak for myself which is what I would have to do for now on.
