Reality

I tried not to wake up Carlos who was sleeping underneath Kendall when I climbed up to reach his bunk. "Kendall" I said trying to whisper his name loud enough to wake him up. "Kendall" I repeated again only causing him to turn over in his sleep. After trying a couple more times I climbed down only to find James standing by the bathroom door.

"What are you doing?" He asked walking over to me. "I was going to talk to Kendall, but I couldn't get him to wake up" I said "come here, I wanna talk to you" he said leading me back into the main area where the couch was Logan was still sitting there.

"Hey man do you mind giving us a minute?" He asked Logan "uh sure" he said gathering up his stuff and going back to his bed.

I let out a heavy sigh, I was not looking forward to this conversation but it had to be done at some point. I sat there awkwardly quiet for a few minutes before James even opened his mouth to speak to me.

"Let me ask you something sis" James said leaning back in his spot on the couch. "Do you honestly see yourself with someone like Kendall forever?" He asked waiting for me to respond, I thought about it for a minute of course I had day dreamed about marital bliss with Kendall and having babies with him one day but I didn't want to tell James that. "I don't know" I replied when James gave me a ridiculous look.
"Well you better figure it out before you get too deep into something you can't get out of" James said patting me on the back. "Look I know I may seem like a pain in the ass to you but your literally all I have and I've protected you my whole life, I'm not gonna stop now." He said, it made me feel bad that he had taken on so much worrying about me when our parents should be the ones being overprotective of us.

"I know, .... but I love him James... and that's not going to change." I said sternly making him shake his head vigorously at me. "I just hope to God you are using protection!" He gasped, making me go into panic mode.
"What?" He asked seeing the worry on my face. "Um.... define protection?" I said jokingly but at the same time being completely serious.

"Are you kidding me right now? You two have been sleeping together and not using protection?!" He said throwing his head into his hands. "Well you say your an adult so i have to treat you like one
.. but if you think I'm gonna let you ruin your life at the age your at you are wrong. When we get back home you need to get on the pill!" James said being very concerned for my actions.

James should know by now that no matter what advice I was given or harsh reality was given to me. I was stubborn and was still going to do what I wanted.

"And as for you and Kendall just having sex just whenever you feel like it on this bus it stops now okay? There is to many people on this bus and I your older brother doesn't want to be haunted by the horrible sounds coming from the two of you okay?" He said I just shook my head.

"Are we done now?" I asked sarcastically I guess he realized it was like talking to a brick wall and gave up.
"I'll see you in the morning this is doing nothing but giving me a headache."

I felt bad, but I was going to be with Kendall even if it meant ruining some friendships or relationships he was all I wanted.
