When we met up with everyone at the casino I couldnt stop my feet from how fast they were running towards James.
"Baby sister it is so good to see you" he said squeezing me super tight. "Ouch!" I said when his arm squeezed the big mark on my back that had appeared the other night after Kendall knocked me against our glass kitchen table.
"I'm sorry am Ihugging you to tight?" He said loosing his grip I laughed I wish it was the pain I was feeling because I wanted more than anything to tell James why I had been so distant and why he hardly seen me but I was so obsessed with keeping up the happy relationship act because I loved Kendall so much that I thought the pain i was going through was worth it.
"No bubba! I'm so happy to see you!" I gasped when I saw Lucy give me a wierd look as did Carlos, Alexa and Logan.
"You two literally live minutes away from one another?" Carlos interjected looking my face over from a distance.
"Well you know our schedules are so busy and things have been rough since our parents died we all heal in our own way even if it's with distance!" James said sticking up for me, but I could tell he really just wanted to pull me aside and talk to me.
That's when Kendall moved closer and grabbed my hand and kissed it in front of everyone.
"So how are you feeling? I mean after your accident?" Logan asked sounding intrigued as to what I had planned to say. He kept looking at me with these saddened eyes like he secretly heard my silent cries but never came right out and said anything.
"It wasn't a big deal.... it really scared me and shook me up pretty bad.... I won't even drive anymore... but I'm okay" I said as he let out a heavy sigh and Kendall rubbed his hand against mine while he held it close to him and let me handle this.
"I just wish you would have told one of us, we would have been there for you." James said out of sincerity.
It made me feel really bad but not as bad as it would make me feel if the three of them killed Kendall for putting his hands on me.
"Well not to change the subject but I'm hungry, let's go eat!" Carlos said walking hand in hand with Alexa.
I had been so wrapped up in my own life, and so distant I had no idea Carlos and her were even dating. Making me feel even worse was my brother and Lucy were together and he wasn't even able to tell me himself.... I knew it had to of made him happy because he had really liked her and thought he had messed up but obviously she forgave him.
Logan was by himself which made me curious as to where his new girlfriend was. So I said something to Kendall not trying to sound nosey but if anyone was going to up and say something it would be Kendall.
"So, Logan where's your girl?" Kendall blurted out taking a drink of tea.
"She had a photo shoot today, but she'll be here tomorrow" he said looking at me when he said that....
"Hmmm.. can't wait to meet her" Kendall said with sarcasm.
The night seemed to be going ok until James started to ask Kendall why we kept putting off the wedding. I know he secretly loved that we hadn't gone through with it, he had never wanted us to in the first place.
"Idea Differences" he said when James scoffed and gave me the stink eye. I knew exactly what he was thinking. I was sitting on the other side of Lucy when she asked me if I wanted to go with her to the ladies room to freshen up.
I just looked around at first mostly seeing if Kendall was going to give me his approval or not. "Uh sure....." I said kissing Kendall on the mouth before following her.
I stood in front of the mirror adding powder to my nose, while Lucy added another coat of lipstick and sprinted a small spray of perfume on her wrists.
I accidentally dropped my MAC setting powder on the floor beside me and had to bend down to pick it up.
When I leaned over I let out a whisper moan, because of how badly sore I was. I didn't know it at the time but Lucy was paying attention. I didn't notice my sweater come up in the back when I bent down showing off just how badly bruised my lower back was and just how much discoloration there was.

Lucy gave me a worried look when I straightened myself back up and finished adding powder to my face.
"Are you okay?" Lucy asked putting a hand on my shoulder, I wanted to scream No..... my body hurts, I'm tired of being Kendall's punching bag... I want to wake up feeling safe in my own house again..
But I just stood there and faked a smile and lied again.
"Yes! I'm great! I replied as we headed back to our table.
