Hospital Bed

Sasuke sat in the waiting room, he called his mom and told them where he was they were on their way. Tsunade came back down about two hours later.

"Sasuke, you can go up. He is on the third floor room 205" Tsunade gave the nurse a clipboard before walking away. Sasuke walked over to the elevator and clicked the button with a 3 on it.

Sasuke walked down the hall until he made it to Narutos room.
Naruto was laying in the bed staring at the wall. He turned his head and smiled when he saw Sasuke walk in.

"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted with excitment, he ushered Sasuke over using his hands. Sasuke walked over and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Sasuke. You can lay down next to me" Naruto said. Sasuke took his shoes off and laid in the bed next to Naruto.

"I have a concussion, thats why the lights are off right now. I won't be school for a while." Naruto sadly looked away from Sasuke. "I'll be back by my birthday though!" Sasuke nodded.

"Why did Neji do that?" Naruto sadly asked, now he won't be able to see Sasuke for a month.

Naruto didn't feel like himself, he was high as a kite thanks to the medication he was receiving.

"I dont know" Sasuke looked away from Naruto, " I didn't think he would've beat you up that bad." he felt like he failed him. He has no idea why he didn't just stop Neji when he told him what he was going to do

"I didn't do anyting to Neji, I don't know why he would come at me like that" Naruto tried to think but it hurt to much to think.

Naruto slowly looked at Sasuke a face of shock. "You knew he was going to beat me up?!" Sasuke sadly nodded his head.

"Look what he did to me! Sasuke. I have a concussion and a broken rib!" Naruto yelled he's never felt so much anger, betrayal and sadness all at once.

"You have a broken rib?" Sasuke tried to change the topic even a little but Naruto was having none of it.

"I was wrong about you Sasuke. I was wrong about everything in this school! You're a bully one of the worst kinds." Naruto's face was growing red. "I don't, I don't want you here! This is your fault too! What kind of friend are you supposed to be?"

Naruto knew he was out of it, but that didn't mean anything. The pain he felt was still real, he didn't understand why Neji hated him. He didn't understand why he beat him up. And now he doesn't understand why Sasuke would let that happen.

Naruto shook his head, "We can't be friends. No! We can't ever be anything. You're the exact definition of the the people I hate!" Naruto
looked Sasuke dead in the eyes "Leave" Naruto demanded.

He felt his own heart crack a little when he saw the hurt in Sasukes eyes. He felt his heart crack when he told him to leave, instantly regretting the words fly out of his mouth.

Naruto sat there in the hospital bed. Sad, hurt, dissapointed. Naruto thought Sasuke was this guy who stood up for people like him, he thought he Sasuke was the 'rebel kid' in the school.

Someone who will tell the teachers off.
He's nothing like that, at least not in school. Naruto can't be friends with someone who is living two completely different life styles.

A bully in school and then the nice guy out side. He doesn't know who he is or who he wants to be.

Sasuke was nothing like that out side of school. Even just talking to him for a little and watching him, he was better. Sasuke was nice, kind, respectful, Sasuke cared about others in his own way and will step in when needed. At least that's what he used to think.
