After gym Aaron hung around me for a while. I just couldn't shake him. Miranda even said that I had a stalker.

"So...why is he following you around again?" She asked.

"I have no idea." I said, completely stumped.

"He's following you because he's concerned." Eli informed, joining our little group. I glanced at him. "What? He doesn't have a charm on him and I'm scanning people's thoughts for anything suspicious. All that was on Aaron's mind was you though. Looks like you've got a crush." He said. Miranda grinned.

"You talking about Aaron or you?" She remarked. Eli blushed but rolled his eyes. I thought about the illusion he had cast for me. Suddenly I spun around and stalked up to Aaron.

"Stop following me around and do not, ever mess with my mind again. You understand?" I hissed. Aaron smiled. Suddenly I heard something in my head.

I guess Queen Sorceress can get mad at one of her knights.

I froze and my eyes pooled with tears. Alexander, my Alexander, was alive. He wrapped me in a hug and squeezed me tight.

"I shall protect you from all that dare oppose you." He whispered. I smiled.

"I've missed you." I cracked out.

"I was breaking the law here. I was training you and they took me away. I managed to hide here under a fake name. You can't tell anyone. I mean it, my Queen." He said. I nodded and pulled away. "I've been watching over you since they took me away. I missed you more than you could imagine. And every time you got hurt I wanted to get back to you, but you could never know from me. It's illegal. Something about not trusting kids to know right from wrong and influencing innapropriate behavior." Alex's eyes got slightly watery as he laughed. I smiled; his laugh was always comforting.

"You saw me in your bedroom." I said. Then a very disturbing thought slipped into my head.

"I looked away every time you started to get changed. Actually, here, I have something for you." He said, fishing around in his backpack. I stood on my tiptoes to see over his shoulder. He grinned. "No peeking." He scolded. I pouted and stood patiently. Finally, Alex retrieved a white gold necklace with a deep blue gem encased in a thin layer of the pale gold. "It was supposed to be your birthday present before I left." He murmured, putting it around my neck.

"What about your eyes, what happened to their normal color?" I asked under my breath, taking a step towards him. He was almost a head above me. He chuckled slightly. "No thank you?" I rolled my eyes. He knows how much I appreciate it.

Contacts. I heard in my head as the answer to my question. Don't worry, I change them every other day. You can see my real eyes soon without aarousing suspicion. I nodded and wrapped my arms around him one last time. He kissed my forehead then ruffled my hair. "See you later Queen Sorceress." I smiled and walked away.

"Fallon." Eli said, grabbing my arm when I passed him. Miranda had wandered away. "He can't mess with your mind unless you want him to, with your charm." He said. I stared at the ground, fighting a smile.

"I know. It won't happen." I said before continuing to walk down the hall in my uniform. I wouldn't fight Alex out of my head.

"Hey, Fog." Dawn said. I slowed down to listen to her. "Have you seen Casey since the first morning?" She asked. I shook my head after some thought. Dawn sighed. "I need to borrow a history book and he's the one who brought all of that stuff."

"I think the library's open, you want me to come with you to see?" I offered.

"No, it's fine. It's not for schoolwork..but..you know." She said. I nodded. "Nice necklace, and, oh, by the way, you have a tail." Dawn whispered before walking away. I turned with a suspicious look on my face, but the only face I recognized was Lucas's.

"What's the problem now?" He asked. I sighed and put my face in my hands.

"Nothing, just thought you were someone else." I said. "Sorry."

"It's fine. Who was following you? Well, besides me." He asked.

"This kid Aaron." I said.

"That guy who gave you that necklace?"

"Yep, that Aaron." I said, giving nothing away. Lucas nodded, and after a heartbeat, shrugged. "Do you know my schedule? I lost it and I have no idea what class I have next."

"Yeah, you should be with your personal tutor outside. All students have Personal training now, which is mostly mental training and logical explanations right now." He said.

"Where exactly outside?" I asked.

"Back lawn." Lucas replied.

"Thank you so much." I said, squeezing his hand quickly before racing off to go outside.

Lucas

Fallon ran off to find the back door, but I knew she would get lost, so I followed her on slow feet.

That kid Aaron....something was off about him.

I had watched her. She had hugged him and cried and he had given her that beautiful necklace like they had known each other forever, even though she didn't even know this gu. And how come she treated him so much better than me at first? I thought hard.

I realized who Aaron was.

"Lucas!" Someone gasped. I turned and was almost tackled to the ground by a slight figure very much smaller than myself. Her arms wound around my neck tightly and I squeezed her waist.

"Can I ask who this is?" I asked. The girl pulled back and looked at me with watery hazel eyes. Her beautiful face was surrounded by a mass of golden locks. "Hannah." I said, recognizing my little sister's face from the family holiday reunions.

"It's good to know my big brother still remembers me." She said, dropping down from my arms. "What are you doing here? You're supposed to spend childhood in the first dimension." She asked, wiping away her tears.

"Somebody who was watching over us teleported us over here before we were frozen in time." I said, my thoughts straining to resume their previous subject. Hannah waved her hand in front of my face.

"Hey, you okay?" She asked, concern lacing her seven year old face.

"Yeah, fine. Just...distracted with how fast things have been going and everything going on." I said, shaking my head to clear it.

"Oh, well, you can always find me if you need a girl who won't swoon over you or hate on you or reveal your deepest secrets to talk to." Hannah offered. "I'm room 112 in Pre-Junior." She said, departing from me. "And I've got a library tutor today." She called, turning away and running down random halls.

I took a deep breath in and let freezing cold waves flow from me. Time froze. I started down the hallway and thought about Aaron.

So far I only knew two things about him.

-A real threat to my growing freindship with Fallon.

-Serious competition
