Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary. A bevy of exes, rumors and secrets were never far behind. I didn't know what or who to believe anymore.
To run away from everything, he said that he'll take me on a thrilling ride. But all good things must come to an end, right?

Dad played with the kid effortlessly. As if he had done it multiple times before. The weird thing is that little thing called a baby stopped crying after dad held him, leaving me beyond speechless.
"Oh you are so cute you little..." he paused and his eyebrows pulled together, "Wait.. what's his name?" He asked as his eyes wandered between me and Chase.
"I..I don't know." Chase muttered, he turned to me for help, "What the hell is his name?"
Both of them had their eyes on me, waiting for an answer. They placed me under the spot making me even more uncomfortable. I mean I was already panicking, "Why you are both looking at me? How the hell am I supposed to know!" I snapped, my voice all squeaky, "It's not like I am the one who pushed him out of my vagina!"
Dad winced, "Lilly, did you really need to say that word!"
My eyebrow raised, "Dad, don't pretend that you are not the one who taught it to me."

"Let's make a deal." I started, "A way to benefit us both."
He gave me his full attention, eager to know what's behind the mischievous look in my eyes, "Let's pretend we are a couple. You know, fake date for a while."
"First, it'll get your mother off our backs. Second, it'll give me the chance to get out of the house more often because my parents trust you and third-" I bit my lower lip, excited at the thought, "It's the best way to make him jealous."
I pushed my hand forward and asked, "Deal?"
He eyed me for a couple of seconds, thinking the whole situation through. His eyes, those very beautiful, panty-dropping eyes lit up in the darkness surrounding us. A small smile tugged at his lips before he shook my hand and muttered, "Deal."

SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK? Are you excited as much as I am? Do you like the covers? Should I change them?
These two stories are kinda different from the previous ones that I've written and that even excites me more.
Roman and Emma's story is gonna be real mafia shit going on. Not like this story, where the mafia world is merely mentioned. It's gonna be dark. If you wanna read it, you should throw your morals and beliefs behind the door first. Because Let's face it, Roman and Emma were born and raised in this world. They're both ruthless in their own different ways. Emma is nothing like the female protagonists I wrote about and I cannot wait to dive into her a bit more.
As for Chase and Lilly, I decided to make their story simple in a way. Like, no deaths and these kinds of Drama. I wanted it to be a story about how these two kids struggled along the way of discovering their feelings for each others.
Ahh can't wait! I never thought about making this series more than two books but the ideas just keep rushing in xD
