One day, my father told me the best advice. He said, "one day you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember. These are the nights that never die." Spend them laughing, smiling, and with the ones you love. We'll always call this ou...
It was Monday morning, meaning it was the beginning of spring break for all of the schools across Dallas. All the teenagers around were making plans for what to do with a week off of school, including Grand Ridge's finest. The star seven football players gathered up a few of their significant others and friends and decided to drive up to Jacob's dad's lake house.
The line of cars were going down highways and down dirt roads. In the front of the line was Ricky in his white Jeep Wrangler. In the passenger seat was Clover with Manny and Jacob in the backseat and their luggage clamoring in the truck. Behind them was Diego in his truck with Mila beside him and their bags thrown in the backseat. Next was Colby and Jose in Colby's car. All of their stuff just tossed randomly among the trunk and backseat. And finally bringing up the rear, Andrew was sitting in the passenger seat of his fiancée Madison's car where she was driving and Stephen was sitting in the backseat surrounded by their suitcases and bags.
Ricky turned into the driveway of the lake house and parked in a safe spot. They could hear and see all their friends park along side them as they all stared in amazement at the house.
Jacob was the first one to exit the cars and start to gather his things. Soon his friends followed in company.
"What does your dad do for a living?" Andrew asked, closing the door to Madison's car. "Sell drugs and work on Wall Street?"
Jacob chuckled and shook his head. "No. He's a corporate counsel."
"What's that?" Manny asked, taking her suitcase from him.
Jacob shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Just don't trash this place. It's expensive."
The eleven filed into the house and looked around at the log cabin on the lake. They admired the wide open living room with a tv on the wall, A fireplace beneath, and two couches and two chairs with a small table in the middle.

The kitchen was fully updated and had all the appliances they would need for the weekend. They ignored Stephen as he unpacked all the food he had filled one of his duffel bags with and put them into the fridge and into the cabinets.
They already knew who they were rooming with, so they went to go choose their rooms. Each room looked the same except for the master bedroom which Jacob and Stephen were sharing. Every other bedroom had two queen sized beds with the feet of the bed facing a window. Every two rooms shared a bathroom with a sink, toilet, tub, and shower inside.
The master bedroom had a king sized bed, a tv, and it's own bathroom with a sink, toilet, tub, and shower.
Stephen walked into the master bed room and dropped his stuff on the far side of the bed. He also noticed Jacob's bags on his side of the bed, so he left to go explore. He walked to the end of the upstairs hallway and stopped at the doorway seeing Ricky unpacking one of his bags.
"Hey." Stephen breathed, leaning against the doorframe. "How you doing?"
"Fantastic." Ricky said sarcastically. "I'm spending four days rooming with my two ex-girlfriends."
