Thursday evening, the baseball players were gathered in the dugout for their last game before playoffs. Hurst let Ricky give them a pep talk before the game, but he was ready to be telling them exactly what to do.

The two had also noticed all of the players were wearing black bananas somewhere on their bodies. Some had them tied around their wrists, some their heads, some around their necks. Neither Ricky or Hurst knew about it until the game started, but let them do what they wanted. Hurst even went as far to allow them to take a group photo before the game to show his support for their uniqueness.

Hurst was currently watching Clover stare down the batter from her pitcher's mound. She glanced at the catcher who signaled her what to do.

Like liquid, Clover moved and threw the ball straight into the catcher's mitt. She smiled to herself when she heard her teammates behind her whistling and yelling encouraging comments. She caught the ball from the catcher while the batter walked back to his dugout.

When they made eye contact, Ricky scratched his jaw as a signal to Clover. She nodded her head once then looked forward. All they had to do was strike out this last batter then get at least three runs in the ninth inning.

"She's gonna get him out." Ricky mumbled, using his fingers to pinch his bottom lip. "It's easy."

Hurst glanced down at Ricky then at Clover who threw the ball virtually right at the batter's bat. Hurst started to yell, but stopped when the ball popped up and landed right into the second basemen's mitt.

Ricky smirked and nudged Hurst's arm with his elbow. "She ain't the smartest, but she always knows where the ball will end up."

Hurst moved out the way for the basemen to file into the dugout and the first batter to go up to bat. Jacob grabbed his bat from leaning against the fence of the dugout and noticed Ricky kiss Clover's forehead as she smiled up at him.

Jacob shuffled over to his friends and stood in front of them since he was up to bat next. "Y'all still mad about them getting back together?"

Diego glanced over at Clover who was smiling at Ricky. He could see in his peripheral vision that Jose, Ethan, and Stephen were looking too. They all looked back forward when Hurst called for Jacob to go up to bat.

When Jacob went to go bat, Stephen grabbed his own bat and waited his turn. He glanced back at the crowd behind the dugout and saw Andrew sitting with his fiancée Madison on once side of him and Manny on the other, all three watching the game. Stephen smirked knowing Andrew was staying down in Dallas for the rest of the week and all of the weekend.

Jacob went up to bat and noticed his teammate at first base. Jacob focused on the pitcher, more important the ball, and got ready to swing. He waited as the pitcher moved in a rough motion and threw it towards him. Jacob swung his bat and hit the ball right between the middle outfielder and the second basemen.

Jacob took off running to first base, barely making it when the middle outfielder threw the ball to the first basemen. He didn't attempt to go to second since he knew he wouldn't make it.

Up next was Stephen. The Jewish boy gingerly walked up to the plate and waited patiently for the pitcher to throw the ball. The pitcher threw it and Stephen swung, but he missed. When it came time to swing a second time, he missed again. Stephen didn't look back at his home side knowing he wouldn't like the looks on their faces. Stephen raised the bat above his head and swung for the fences. Luckily, the left fielder missed the ball and got Stephen to second base. Jacob ended up on third, and their teammate who batted before Jacob got home.

Jose was up to bat and had to get at least Jacob to home plate. Jose held the bat above his head as he watched the pitcher begin to throw the ball. Jose quickly swung his bat and hit the ball in the outfield. Jose took off running to first base as he watched the ball float in the air. Right when Jose was about to make it onto base, he saw the ball land in an outfielder's mitt.
