Saturday late afternoon, Ricky, Clover, Ethan, Jose, Andrew, Stephen, and Manny all went out to the local city fair to have a good night out together. Diego and Jacob opted to not go to the fair and instead go up north to the cheerleading competition together.

Ethan leaned his arm on Jose's shoulder as Jose was paying for one of the games that he was about to play. Ethan stepped back and let Jose play the dart and balloon game. He easily popped four of the balloons with his four darts and collected his stuffed animal prize.

"Where the others?" Jose asked, looking around for their friends.

Ethan pointed to Manny walking away from them with Esmeralda in her arms, but they saw her meeting Esmeralda's dad Bryce so they ignored her. They looked in the other direction and smirked seeing Ricky handing Clover a large stuffed elephant when he won the strength test game. Andrew went next and won a stuffed monkey, giving it to Stephen who was just watching them.

Jose and Ethan made their way over to them just as Andrew was taking Clover's picture with the elephant. She ignored men's stares at her in her red tube top, camouflage pants, and white and red sneakers.

"Not gonna pose with your girl?" Ethan asked, knowing Ricky wasn't one for pictures. "She's looking like a model and you being all stingy."

Clover laughed at Ricky's annoyed expression, but wrapped her free arm around his waist when he stood beside her. She tried not to blink at the bright flash when Andrew took their picture.

Andrew handed Clover her phone back then sighed softly. "So we just gonna chill here for a while then leave and grab a bite to eat?"

Ricky nodded. "Unless y'all wanna leave now. Cause I don't know about y'all, but I'm starving."

"Me too." Stephen complained. "Can't we just leave now and just go somewhere fun. I know there's this one joint up the street that's like a restaurant but has live music and shit. Their nachos are so good." He reminisced, his mouth watering at the thought.

They all looked around at each other and nodded agreeing that they all wanted to go. Clover texted Manny that they were leaving which Manny just replied that her, Bryce, and Esmeralda would stay and have a family night along with Bryce's siblings.

The six got into Ricky's Jeep and Jose's car he borrowed from his sister and left. They pulled up to the restaurant that Stephen was talking about and went inside. Music was playing loudly through the speakers, people were dancing, and the waitresses and waiters were walking around with trays of food to the tables.

Ricky tightened his grip on Clover's hand when he noticed a guy in his mid-forties staring at her. Clover didn't pay Ricky any mind and laughed at what Jose had just said.

After ordering their dinner, Ethan, Jose, Clover, and Stephen went to go dance around on the dance floor with other people having a good time. Andrew dropped his phone down on the table getting Ricky's attention.

"How's the assistant coach job treating you?" Andrew asked, sipping from his cup of soda.

Ricky shrugged nonchalantly. "It's okay. Just the same ol' thing as football. Just coaching a slightly smaller group of annoying teenagers and traveling to games all the time. It pays the bills so I don't really mind it. Work flexible hours which is probably something I'm going to miss in the future when I get a real job."

"You don't have to." Andrew told him. "You know what I was thinking about a while ago?" Andrew continued his thought when Ricky raised his eyebrows and drank from his drink. "I think you should be an MMA fighter or something. You have that aggression, you're in great shape still from football, and you'd be great at it. It's something that you'd win championships for. It pays great money and you don't even have to do it for that long."
