The next morning, a Monday, the last four teams in the tournament were playing for the finals. The winners of the semifinals were playing to see who was the champion team while the losers were playing to see who got fourth and third place in the tournament.
While the bronze match was being played, Stephen sat down in the grass with his teammates on one side of him and Bella on the other. She was watching the game while Stephen started to mentally prepare.
"Nervous?" She asked, glancing at him for a moment then to the game.
Stephen shrugged, cracking his knuckles and looking down at the ground. "I guess. I just don't want to mess up and cost them the game."
Bella nodded her head slowly, understanding what he meant by that. "That's why I don't play." She smirked. "I just manage. They were devastated when we didn't make it to the semifinals yesterday. I couldn't live with myself if I was the reason they had a terrible, devastating, soul-crushing lost."
Stephen glared at her for a moment making her laugh. "Thanks." He spoke sarcastically.
Bella laughed and put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm just messing with you. Don't worry. You'll do fine."

In the second inning, Clover was standing on the pitcher's mound throwing the ball up and down in her hand. She took a deep breath as she looked over to Ethan watching a butterfly fly past him.
She chuckled and glanced back at Jose who gave her a wink. Clover looked forward at the catcher for the type of ball to throw. He called a play with his fingers, giving her a set of numbers and motions. Clover nodded as she got into position and took a final deep breath.
Clover quickly threw the ball swiftly and as fast as she could. When the batter swung, she smiled when she saw the catcher catch the ball.
Jose chuckled, standing up to relax. He looked at the dugout and noticed all of their teammates were watching closely and intensely at all of their moves.
Ethan was getting ready to sit on third base when Clover threw the ball, but jumped up when the batter hit it. The ball flew through the air and all of the players watched it.
Jose stood up straight and jumped up into the air. He caught it in his mitt and landed back to his feet with ease. The umpire called an out making all of their hearts stop racing with anticipation.
When the next batter came up to the plate, Clover looked down to Baylor for a moment. He was adjusting his SnapBack on his head, watching the batter closely.
When Clover threw a fast ball none of them expected for the batter to actually be able to hit it, but he did.
Everyone listened to the ball soar through the air above their heads. The middle outfielder just barely missed it, but scooped it up and chucked it to Baylor.
Baylor kept one foot on the base and held his left hand out for the ball to land in his mitt with a thump. The umpire called the batter out a seconds after the ball had successfully gotten to Baylor.
Baylor just glared at the batter who was walking timidly. He didn't show any emotions knowing it was the part of the game, but Baylor's eyes couldn't help to glance at the bleachers were college coaches were seated. A small smirk appeared on his lips while he threw the ball back for another hopeful strike
