The following morning, a Tuesday, while everyone else was asleep in their rooms, Madison and Andrew were having some well deserved time alone cooking breakfast.
Andrew walked up behind Madison and put his hand on her hip. "You're beautiful." He complimented.
Madison rolled her eyes and giggled. "Thanks, hubby. You finally happy to be re-connected with your family?"
"I'm happy you're here with me." He kissed her cheek then rested his chin on her shoulder. "You're my family, too. I want you to be just apart of this rollercoaster as I am. We are going to get married and have a bunch of kids, might as well get closer to my other family now rather than later. We're connected by..." He let out a breath, his eyes glued to the bacon she was cooking on the stove.
Madison giggled. "Connected by pig skin?" She teased. "By a common bond. By blood shed. By...passion." She finished for him. "You're a family."
"Yes." Andrew gushed. "You know in my literature class the other week, we read this poem thing from Shakespeare." He recalled, turning Madison around when she turned off the stove. He stepped closer to her so she was against the counter beside the stove and he was an inch from touching her body.
"What was it?" She whispered, staring up at him.
The corner of Andrew's lip rose as he recited the excerpt. "For now until the end of the world, we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he who sheds his blood with me; shall be my brother."
The two jumped when they heard clapping behind them. Andrew whipped around to see Stephen standing there in a pair of boxers and his hair disheveled.
"Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful." Stephen snapped sarcastically. "Like I said last night after all y'all got too drunk to probably remember, some things never go out of style. Some things live forever. Like us, like what we have here. Now," he clapped his hands together, "I smell food."

Just a little over two hours later, Jacob grabbed his phone off the charger in his and Stephen's shared room, picked up his headphones, and went to go downstairs. He stopped at the top of the stairs and looked into the living room. He saw Stephen and Andrew having an arm wrestling contest while Madison was paining her toe nails and Jose, Colby, and Ricky were watching a movie on tv.
Jacob laughed to himself and continued what he was doing. He went down the stairs, pass all of them, and out the back door. There Jacob noticed Diego filming Mila as she did flips and tricks with the lake as her background.
Jacob went the opposite direction, going towards the driveway, and put in his headphones. He didn't get far when he noticed Clover and Manny in the driveway sitting on the hood of Ricky's Jeep talking.
Clover looked over at Jacob and smiled softly. "Hey. Do you know if Ricky got my text or not?"
Jacob shrugged his shoulders, taking his headphones out his ears but was still ready to play his music.
Clover rolled her eyes and hopped down, mumbling something about her book bag as she walked off inside the house. Jacob glanced up at Manny who just looked away when they made eye contact.
"Still awkward to look at me?" Jacob asked, feeling the tension in the air.
Manny looked at Jacob and sighed. "What do you want me to say? That...that I love being around you? That I totally love the fact that you can't stand to be around me."
"If I couldn't stand to be around you, I wouldn't have invited you to spend half the week at my dad's lake house." Jacob pointed out. "We just have...history."
