Saturday morning, after spending his night consoling Stephen, Andrew woke up the next morning and met Ricky for breakfast. The two talked and laughed until Ricky was forced to get back to the hotel to join the team for the tournament.
Andrew walked with Ricky down the hallway that lead to his hotel room. Andrew snickered with his hands in his jean pockets as Ricky continued to complain about working with Danny.
"He's probably one of the most annoying people I've ever been around." Ricky groaned. "You can tell he went through life relying on his looks how dumb this dude is. Little bastard." He growled under his breath.
Andrew laughed again, but was sure to be quiet since they were going past people's rooms. "If you need a night off, I'm going to a college party not too far away from here tonight. Friend of a friend of mine is throwing it."
Ricky shook his head, leaning against his hotel room door. "As tempting as that is, I'm not gonna go. I should tell the players neither are they since I heard some of them talking about it last night."
Andrew nodded his head once. He did one of their handshakes with Ricky as he mumbled that he'd see them at the game. Ricky used his room key to push the door open. The moment he walked in, he saw Clover standing by her bed with her back to him.
Ricky felt his body tense as he saw she was listening to music with earbuds in and was throwing her uniform on her bed. Ricky's mind was shouting at him to move, but his feet didn't unstick from his spot. His eyes glanced over his ex's body as she had bruises peppered on the back of her thighs from her sliding to home base yesterday.
The purple underwear she was wearing showed off her round butt with stretch marks on the sides. Every time she moved her hips to the music, Ricky felt like he was going to explode.
Ricky wanted to look away or to leave the room, but he couldn't help but remembered the leper printed bra that she had shown him when they were younger. When they dated.
He knew she didn't know he was there, but he had to do something before she did. Ricky's eyes didn't leave her body when Clover flipped her braids over her shoulder while putting her baseball pants on. The material hugged her curves, but Ricky nearly jumped out his skin when she bent down to put on her socks.
Ricky felt a sense of urgency when he saw her body start to turn towards him. Ricky pushed the door slightly and covered his eyes as Clover noticed him.
"Holy shit!" Ricky hissed. "Cover up, Charms. What the hell?"
Clover rolled her eyes and threw on her uniform. She pulled her earbuds out her ears and went to go find her cleats. "Not like you ain't seen it before."
Ricky glared at her once she was fully dressed. He watched her grab her cleats then brush passed him in the doorway.
"Don't act so innocent and shy." Clover playfully snickered.
Ricky let out a deep breath, his heart still racing. He left the room, completely forgetting why he came there in the first place, and went to meet Danny and the rest of the team in the lobby.

Two and a half long hours later at the baseball field, the Jaguars were the fourth game of the day. If they weren't playing, they had to sit in the grass field around the bleachers and watch the other teams play. Luckily, some games were much shorter than others so they didn't have to sit around as long as they could've had to.
It was the fifth inning and Stephen was up to bat. He could hear his teammates chanting his name and cheering him on. Stephen snickered, but tried to keep his head in the game. Diego was standing on second base, but took off to third, stealing the base while the pitcher set up to throw to Stephen.
