Friday afternoon, instead of spending the afternoon at home with her baby like she wanted to, Manny was smiling at Esmerelda in Andrew's arms as they were sitting in the bleachers at the baseball home game.
"Dang, I remember rushing you to the hospital with her." Andrew smiled, making sure he censored his language. "I remember when she was the size of my hand. She's getting so big now."
Manny smiled at the giggling baby. She was holding onto her small bunny stuffed animal toy in her hand, but she let it go when she noticed Andrew's zipper on his jacket.
"Oop, she found something new." Andrew chuckled, watching Esmerelda play with his zipper.
Manny looked at the field when they heard the sound of the bat and ball connecting. She stood to her feet and cheered on Stephen sprinting to first base. Andrew stood up and bounced Esmerelda around as she shrieked, trying to cheer with her mom and Andrew.
When they sat back down, Andrew looked over at Ricky talking to the team in the dugout. "So...you and Ricky? How's that going?"
Manny chuckled nervously, crossing her legs and focusing her eyes on Esmerelda. "Good. Why?"
Andrew raised his eyebrows, bouncing Esmerelda on his lap. "Just asking. You're a train wreck, he's a train wreck." He shrugged. "It's nice seeing you two together. You gonna have little Barnes babies?"
Manny laughed loudly, throwing her head back at his comment. "Barnes babies?" She repeated, amused by his questions. "One baby is fine. He's gotta put a ring on it first before I'm having any type of babies. And I'm not ready to settle down yet, either. We're just...dating. It's kinda nice to date, you know? Not worried about anything too much."
"I'm engaged." Andrew reminded her. "I haven't dated for a while now. But, I understand. At least you got a man with a job."
"My dad gave him this job." She smirked, watching Ricky and Mateo talking to one another. "But I'm happy he's getting back on the wagon. It's much better than him just resorting back to his old ways of beating the hell out of everyone."
Andrew nodded agreeing with her. He picked Esmerelda up and put her feet on his thighs as she put weight on her legs and got a better view of the game, despite her having no idea what was going on.

At the end of the game, Ricky was sitting back in the dugout as the players were blasting music on the field celebrating their win. He glanced up at the field to see them dancing around in the sand to the bass filled music blaring through the spring air. Ricky looked beside him to see Danny sitting with his feet up on a cooler on his phone and Mateo was texting.
Ricky looked towards the parking lot when he saw the back of Baylor walking up to two men, older than all three of them. Baylor spoke to the men for a moment, the conversation heated by the expression on the men's faces. Baylor shrugged his shoulders and went to pull his phone out, but one of the men grabbed Baylor's wrist and twisted it so Baylor couldn't move his arm. The man shoved Baylor back and yelled in his face, but the music on the field drowned out their conversation. The other man clearly got mad at whatever Baylor replied since he shoved Baylor back roughly, nearly knocking him on the ground, and reached into his jacket for an object.
Ricky shot up and rushed off to the parking lot without alarming the players on the field, but moved quick enough to get Mateo and Danny's attention. Ricky rushed over to the scene and tried to act casual.
