"What do you do when the one who broke your heart is the only one who can fix it."
Walking into the very crowded hallway of her school, Midtown School of Science and Technology, Rosie pushed through the groups of chattering students, not caring about the amount of glares she got from them as she made her way towards her locker. After finally getting to her locker, Rosie put her combination in and opened it up, putting in her backpack and grabbing the books she needed before shutting it. When she closed it, Rosie jumped at the sight of her friend Mary Jane leaning against the one next to hers. "Jesus, MJ! Don't scare me like that." "Sorry girly!" The light skinned girl laughed at her friend's startled expression.
"Come on, we need to head to class." Rosie rolled her eyes as MJ literally dragged her to their Physics class. When they enter the classroom, Rosie freezes in her spot when her eyes met Peter's who was already staring at the with guilt in his eyes. "Why is Parker staring at you like that?" Mary Jane asked her as the two of them made their way to their seats, a disgusted look on her face. "I don't know." The class bell then rang, their teacher Ms. Warren greeting the class and began teaching.
Throughout class, while Rosie took down the notes that were written on the board, Peter kept sneaking glances at her, trying to think of a plan on how to get his friend back.
About halfway through class, Ms. Warren gave everyone a worksheet to work on and Rosie was about a finger snap away from losing it, completely and utterly confused at the questions and formulas that filled the paper that was placed in front of her. "I give up!" She shouted, getting a couple glares from her classmates and teacher. "Me too." Mary Jane agreed, the two girls leaning back in their chairs.
"I—I can p-probably help you g-guys..." Rosie and Mary Jane's eyes lifted up from their desk to see Peter standing in front of them, his hands shoved in his pockets and his body shifting uncomfortably. "I think we're good." MJ said harshly, glaring at him. "Oh, I c-couldn't help but overhear y-you guys so I thought—" "Well you thought wrong so bye now!" Rosie slapped her friend in the arm, finding her friend's attitude a little too harsh. "Stop..."
"Thanks for the offer but we're good on our own." Rosie politely said, flashing him a smile before returning her attention back on the worksheet.
Peter slowly nodded with a frown on his lips as he turned around and returned back to his seat next to Ned. "So, how did it go?" "What do you think?" Peter snapped, instantly apologizing to his friend and sunk down in his seat. "This is going to be harder than I thought..." He muttered under his breath.

"Hey Rosie, I was just calling to tell you that Otto asked us to come over to the lab after school, saying how he made a big discovery and wants us to check it out. Anyway, call me back." Rosie listened to the voicemail from Darren end, quickly sending him a text saying that she would be there.
