"When I first met you, I honestly didn't know you were gonna be this important to me."

Footsteps. Whispering. Those were the two things that caused Peter to suddenly wake up from his deep slumber. The first thing he sees in his eyesight once his vision was cleared up was a peacefully sleeping Rosie in his arms, her back pressed against his chest.

The sound of faint whispering caused the boy to shuffle uncomfortably, feeling the hairs on his arm stick up and an uneasy feeling forming in the pit of his stomach. Peter leaned down and kissed Rosie's head before carefully and gently pulling his arm away from her and slipping himself out of the covers and off the bed.

Peter quietly tiptoed out of Rosie's bedroom and down the narrow hallway, pulling his jacket's sleeve up to reveal his homemade web-shooter. Once he got to the end of the hallway, he poked his head out slowly, his eyes squinting in confusion at the sight of three women he has never seen before. At this exact moment Peter was grateful to have his senses heightened because without them, he most likely wouldn't have known there were intruders inside Rosie's apartment.

"Are you sure that's her?" Peter heard one of them ask, the tone of the woman's voice causing goosebumps to form on his arm, and not the good ones. "Yes, I'm sure." Another one spoke up, her voice sounding more calm than the other one. "My visions are never wrong."

"Visions? What does this have to do with Rosie?" Peter thought, his eyes still trained on three women. "Is that boy she is currently sleeping with gonna be any problem?" The one with the dark tone questioned, her hands resting on her hips. "He wasn't in my visions, so probably no."

"But if he does become a problem, we need to take care of him. For Rosalinda's sake." The last one of the trio spoke up, her arms crossed over her chest with a stern look on her face. "How would killing her possibly boyfriend, help her?" The calm one asked, a dumbfounded look on her face.

"Whatever she is going through, it'll be better for her if she had zero distractions." She snapped back. "Going through? What is Rosie going through? She would tell me right?" Peter questioned mentally, too focused in his mind that he wasn't aware of the apartment's door beginning to open and the three women magically vanishing into thin air. The sudden uneasy feeling he had in his stomach disappeared, meaning that the three women were actually gone, not just invisible.

Peter quickly pulled his sleeve down to conceal his web-shooter as Valentina stepped through the doorway and into the apartment, a confused expression forming on her face at the sight of the boy she knew Rosie cared deeply about standing at the corner of the hallway. "Peter? What are you doing here?"

"O-Oh, Rosie called and told me you were working late s-so I came over to keep her c-company." He stuttered, standing there awkwardly as his soft hazelnut eyes met Valentina's dark brown ones. "So, you guys were sleeping together?" "Yeah." Peter's eyes then widened at the way his words sounded. "N-Not sexually or a-anything. Yes we slept in the s-same bed but just slept, o-only slept."
