It's been a week since Rosalinda Keyes has seen Peter Parker and the young brunette was starting to get worried. Peter rarely missed school and if he did, it wouldn't be no longer than a day. The boy took school too seriously.
"Peter's not here again?" Rosie was taken out of her thoughts as Harry took a seat next to her desk. She shook her head and took out her Physics's textbook out of her backpack and placed it on her desk. "Nope, I'm starting to get worried." Harry shrugged his shoulders, "Maybe he has the flu?"
A sigh fell from the brunette's lips and shook her head. "I don't think that's it." "Well, what do you think it is then?" Rosie shrugged, flipping the textbook open when she noticed Ms. Warren writing down page numbers on the whiteboard. "I don't know."
The school bell then rang, signaling class was beginning to start. Rosie's mind traveled to somewhere else the second Ms. Warren opened her mouth. Sneakily, Rosie pulled her phone out from her side pocket and began to text Peter, doing quick glances towards the front of the classroom to make sure her teacher doesn't catch her. "Hey Pete, you aren't here again? Are you sure you are feeling alright?" After a couple minutes Rosie felt her phone vibrating against her thigh, meaning she got a text back. "Yeah I'm fine. Nothing to worry about." He replied.
Rosie then saw she got another text but from Valentina instead. "Hey Rosie, just wanted to ask if you could stop by Oscorp after school? I need to talk to you." Taking a quick glance up to see Ms. Warren still writing useless notes down on the board before quickly typing in a reply. "Yeah sure but I'm stopping by Peter's first. He still hasn't come to school yet."
Rosie then put her phone away when she received the last text from Val, saying "Okay. I hope he's alright." The rest of the school day was filled with Rosie having constant worried thoughts about Peter, wondering what could be the cause for him missing school for an entire week.

Walking through the very similar apartment hallway caused Rosie's heart rate to increase significantly, feeling it beat against her chest and the palms of her hands getting a little sweaty. Rosie felt her hands beginning to tremble and the air in her throat get stuck.
She raised her fists against the door but stopped centimeters from it. "This is a mistake." She thought as she could literally hear her heartbeat in her ears. "No! You have to do this. You better suck it up Rosalinda Marie Keyes!" She told herself, her fist finally banging against the door. After a couple seconds the door was pulled open, Rosie's eyes meeting the woman who she has known her entire life, a large smile on her face. "Oh my god Rosie?" She asked, a hand over her chest.
