"You know you love someone so deeply, when the thought of losing them forever scares you and brings you to tears."

Tears streamed down Rosie's eyes as she stared down at her blood stained hands and clothes, taking the now red-colored covered fabric between her fingertips, feeling her breathing become uneasy and her heart rate increasing.  Rosie gasped for air, trying to get her breathing back to normal but only felt it getting worse.

From a couple feet away in the white hallway, Peter turned his attention away from the police officer that was speaking to his Aunt May and Uncle Ben and noticed Rosie beginning to have a panic attack.  Peter ran towards the trembling girl, kneeling in front of Rosie and took her face in his hands, forcing her teary eyes to look into his dark brown ones.  "Rosie, look at me.  You need to breathe, okay?  Breathe in.  Breathe out.  Breathe in.  Breathe out."  He tried to soothe her, copying his words.

Rosie nodded her head, listening to his directions and soon, her uneasy breaths turned into sobs.  Peter had a look of sincere on his face as he wrapped his arms delicately around her, like she was made of glass and he didn't want to break her.  He pulled her to him, letting her sob against his chest.  "I'm all alone..." She mumbled against his now tear soaked shirt, a couple sniffles escaping.

"Hey," Peter whispered in her ear, running his fingers through her long brunette hair and placed a kiss against her head.  "You're not alone.  You have me, you have May, and Ben."

Peter stared at her, feeling his heart break at the sight of a sobbing Rosie.  Images of what happened just a couple hours ago flashed through his mind, the feeling of guilt returning in the pit of his stomach.

Raspy coughs escaped from Rosie and Valentina's mouths as the flames in the building spread, feeling the air become thinner.  "I can't breathe." Rosie gasped, clenching her chest, feeling her heart beat against her chest.

"Help!" The two girls' attention turned towards the sound of a male's cry for help.  Rosie and Valentina ran towards the source of the voice, seeing an elderly man trapped under a collapsed desk. "Don't worry sir, we'll get you out of there." Rosie reassured the man, her and Valentina wrapped their hands around the side of the table, using all their strength to lift the table off the man, holding it up long enough for the old man to crawl out from under it and run towards the doors that were no longer electrified.

The sudden sound of another voice yelling out caught their attention, but this time, Rosie recognized that voice. "Rosie? ROSIE!" She tilt her head up to see none other than Spider-Man stuck to the wall, his goggled eyes scanning the flame engulfed floor, trying to spot the brunette girl.

"Over here!" Rosie jumped up and down, waving her hands to try and get his attention. As Peter's eyes scanned the burning room, he felt his heart slightly relax at the sight of a waving Rosie. He fired his webs at the ceiling and swung down towards her, landing right in front of her. "Are you okay?" He asked her, running his hands along her arms and sides. "Are you hurt?"
