"You are my best friend, my human diary, and my other half.  You mean the world to me and I love you."

Butterflies. That's all Rosie felt the entire school day. Feeling them flying around her stomach and heat flowing up to her cheeks whenever she would notice Peter sneaking a glance towards her, a small smirk on his lips that sent tingling sensations all over her body.

All of this felt weird to Rosie. Not in a bad way, more in a good way. The Peter she knew a couple months back could never make her feel the way she feels right now. Now, any simple smile or smirk he would send her way would automatically make her heart flutter and knees go weak.

Rosie was now sitting in her last class of the day, her and Mary Jane working on an assignment that their teacher gave them not too long ago. "Okay. Are you going to tell me what's been going on between you and Parker?" MJ finally spoke up, noticing the blush that never left Rosie's face whenever she and Peter would sneak glances towards each other throughout the school day.

"What are you talking about?" Rosie raised a brow, refusing to make eye contact with her friend. "What's going on between you and Peter?" She repeated, "I'm not dumb Rosie. I noticed the sneaky stares you guys would send each other throughout the entire today. The grins that form and never leave your faces whenever you're near each other. Or, the whispering between you two during lunch."

"I have no idea what you're talking about. There is nothing going on between me and Peter." Rosie lied, shaking her head. She hated lying to Mary Jane but her and Peter both decided to not come out and announce their newly formed relationship since he literally just got out of one. "Why? What have you heard?" She asked, trying to hide the curiosity that filled her voice.

"You know Heather? The blonde girl that is basically obsessed with drama?" Rosie nodded, "Well, she told me that Gwen and Peter broke up because he had feelings for someone else." "Did she say who he had feelings for?" Rosie asked, pushing a strand of her brunette hair behind her ear, something she usually does out of nervousness.  A sigh then left Rosie's mouth when Mary Jane stared at her, like stared at her, knowing already that it was her.

"Why didn't you tell me?" MJ asked, sounding quite hurt that her friend didn't trust her with this type of news.  "I wanted to tell you but me and Peter decided together that we should wait a bit until we come out about our relationship, not wanting to get judged by others."  "I wouldn't have judged you."  Mary Jane fired back, "I'm so happy for you guys."

"Wait—" Rosie seemed taken back by her friend's words, "—really?"  "Yeah."  Mary Jane nodded, a smile on her lips.  "I always knew you and Peter would end up together, even if it would take a couple years.  I see the way you two look at each other, even before you guys admitted your true feelings for each other."  She spoke truthfully, remembering all the times she would hear Peter ramble on about Rosie to Harry and Ned, finding how much he cared about her quite adorable.
