Does anyone have a cat? And one morning, have you ever woken up and they're literally sitting on top of you, so you accidentally punch them in the face? No? I guess its just me then...
Somebody To You
Luke's P.O.V.
Sophie. The only name on my mind. The only person that was always on my mind. I was crazy about her, I'm pretty sure I was going mad. All because of her. She's a beautiful person, inside and out. But sometimes I got the feeling that she was hiding something. Sure, she has serious anxiety. I could tell. But there's something more. Something that she keeps bottled up inside her, and she needs that one person that she can trust and open up to. I wanted to be that person.
Right on cue, Sophie stumbled into the van with Calum following closely behind. Her hair was still damp from the pool, or was it the shower? Her ripped jeans fitted her legs perfectly, God her legs were better than mine! She clung onto the seat, laughing because she'd just nearly gone flying. When she finally calmed down, she shuffled over and sat in the seat next to me. I couldn't help but beam when she flashed me her award-winning smile.
Luke, stop. Its her that's supposed to be fan girling over you, not the other way round!
The van started up and we sped away. The boys started their usual indistinct chatter, while I watched Sophie scroll through her Twitter feed. I think I followed her on Twitter. I hoped. I quickly whipped out my phone and checked. Thank God. I did.
"Hey!" Sophie suddenly piped up, making me jump. "I forgot I need a selfie with you guys for my Instagram profile!" She rushed to unfasten her seat belt and slid her way over to Michael. I watched in awe as she took 3 selfies with each of the boys. One smiling, one pouting, and one weird one.
She finally came and sat down next to me, staring up at me. "What about you Hemmings? Do you want a selfie with the most amazing person ever?" She grinned at me teasingly.
I flapped my arms around and squealed in a high-pitched voice. "Oh yes! Try not to fan-girl, Luke! Stay calm!"
She laughed and turned her phone to face us. Once again, we smiled, we pouted, then we took the weird one. Sophie stuck her tongue out as I put my chin on her shoulder and looked at her all confused-like. She brought her phone back down to her face. "I'll send them you all over Messenger."
Within seconds, I received 3 new texts from her, all of them were the pictures of us. I picked the last one and posted it on my Instagram, saying, "This girl is da bomb!"
Sophie's update then suddenly popped up. She'd picked her favourite one from each of us and posted it. I saw how rapidly the likes went up, as did her followers. I kept refreshing our selfie, seeing the likes and comments whiz past the 2000 mark. So many comments were things like, "You two suit!" And "I wish you could get together!"
I looked at Sophie, who was smiling at her screen. I wished it too.
Sophie's P.O.V.
"Yes Mom, I am eating...yes Mom, I promise to call you every night from now on..." I held the phone away from my face and sighed heavily. I was waiting to go on stage any minute now, and that was the moment my Mom decided to call me. I was supposed to accompany the boys with pretty much all of their songs, and my little solo at the end, which the audience would pick, not to mention the big announcement. But just as I was about to practice, she calls me up and blabs on about the stupid little things.
