Chapter38- Fifa?

Fifa?

"Sweet or Salted?" Luke asked me quizzically, leaning against the counter, still trying to catch his breath. We all thought that getting to the cinemas early would mean that we wouldn't be spotted by fans. But we were so wrong. We were spotted the moment we stepped out of the car, and practically ambushed just seconds later. A huge gaggle of girls swarmed around us, screaming our names and pleading for photos. I was amazed at all the attention we were getting, but the boys acted perfectly calm. After all, I guess it's normal to them.

After a while I started to feel a panic attack coming on. I couldn't breathe in the huge crowd, and I could hear my breathing over the screaming. Luke seemed to notice, because he pushed through the crowd towards me. He quickly took hold of my hand and tugged me towards the door. Fans shrieked and wailed when they saw us, declaring that we were holding hands. The cinema staff suddenly rushed out and hurried us inside, locking all of the doors behind us. The crowd outside hammered on the windows, desperately trying to get in. I slumped down on the floor with my head bent over into my lap. Luke knelt down beside me, rubbing wide circles on my back as the rest of the boys surrounded us. "Is she okay?" Calum asked worriedly. I could feel him eyeing my shaking shoulders.

"She'll be fine." Luke assured them. I heard mumbles and the shuffling of the boy's feet, before Luke took hold of my arms and pulled me onto my feet. "You okay?" I nodded slowly, breathing deeply out of my mouth. "I just hate crowds."

Luke smiled warmly, leading me out of sight of the crowd outside and over to the popcorn stand, where he asked me that question. "Sweet or Salted?"

"I don't mind." I gave a slight whimper, gripping at Luke's arm. I still couldn't feel my hands and feet, and my stomach was still churning as my chest tightened. Luke rest his hands on my hips, his eyebrows furrowing. "You sure you're alright?"

"Mhm." I relaxed slightly and planted a quick kiss on his lips. "I'm going to get Pic N Mix, just get whatever you want." Luke nodded and turned back to the counter as I slowly walked away. I began to relax and calm down as I loaded my sweet bag with foam bananas and strawberry laces. Sweets always made me feel better.

"Jeez, can you get any more in that bag?" I turned to see Calum standing next to me, staring incredulously at my bag of sweets. I giggled as I placed the bag on the weighing scale. "I can try if you want."

Calum laughed and hung about, waiting for me to pay for my sweets.  When I'd finished, I turned back to Calum, only to see him staring behind me. I didn't even have to look to know who he was staring at. "Calum..." His attention immediately turned to me. "Are you...okay with me and Luke? You know, being together?"

Calum tensed up, nodded furiously.. "Calum..." I placed my hand on his arm, and he grunted quietly, relaxing at my touch. "Not really. I like you, Soph. It kills me to see you with someone else, especially my best mate." I giggled lightly, feeling both flattered and guilty.

"But..." Calum pressed his lips together and sighed, obviously trying to hold it together. "If you're happy, then so am I." I beamed at him, acting grateful, even though I knew he was lying. I quickly pecked his cheek and stood on my tiptoes to hug him. "Thank you."

"No." Calum leaned away, smirking mischievously. "Thank you." I frowned in confusion, but before I could react, Calum suddenly snatched my bag of sweets and raced off after Ashton and Michael. I rolled my eyes. Such a kid.

"What was all that about?" I heard Luke's voice behind me as he held out a Tango Ice Blast in front of me. I took it off him and walked beside him as we made our way towards our screen. "Just seeing if he was okay." I glanced at Luke, who was already stuffing his face with popcorn, and took a slurp of my drink. "I love these. How did you know?"
