Has anyone seen the new One Direction film? Me and @mrs_irwinxoxo went to watch it today (because we went to one of their shows) and its amazeballs!
I'd Do Anything For You.
It was our last day in Italy. I couldn't believe that it had gone so fast. From last night's show, to the late night pizza that Michael managed to sneak for us, to now, me sittting here in the empty room with my suitcase all packed, it was incredible how fast it had gone.
I'd dressed in my light studded denim shorts, with my thin white camisole, navy blue flannel shirt and black Converse high tops, considering our next stop was Spain and it would probably be roasting hot. I sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the wall, twirling my ponytail around and around my finger, when the thought crossed my mind again. The thought of being back home again in just a few weeks, living a normal life again, without the four boys. Without that one boy that I wanted and needed more than anyone, and he knew it.
"What are you thinking about, nerd?" Michael asked, sitting down next to me. I shrugged, smiling at the little nickname he had for me. "Just about how fast this summer has gone."
Michael broke off a piece of the chocolate croissant he was holding and handed it to me as I continued talking. "I mean, this time last month I was sitting in class studying music, and now...I'm doing music. Its crazy how far I've actually come, just for it to all fade away when I go back."
"Well, it was kinda fate to find you at that concert in London that night." Michael nudged me. "Besides, your singing isn't awful." I faced him, failing to fight the grin from my face. "Thanks Michael."
"Don't thank me." Michael stood up, poking my knee. "Thank Luke. He's the one that came up with the idea."
As Michael walked away, I realized that he was right. It was Luke that suggested to bring me on tour. It was thanks to him that I was in this crazy mess.
It was around noon when we decided to make a move. It was tricky, since we were lumbered with our huge cases down the vast flights of stairs. We kept stumbling and tripping, especially Calum, but we finally managed to get down to the lobby without any broken bones.
As we handed the receptionist our room key, he gave us all a dirty look. "I'm glad to see the last of him." Ashton whispered to me as we made our way out. "That sour face could put me off almost anything."
The taxi was waiting for us as we stepped outside. As Michael helped Ashton load the cases into the boot, I spotted Luke. He was leaning against the car, dressed in his black and white Vans top and usual skinny jeans, chewing on his lip as he stared at his phone screen. Without thinking, I hurried over to him and flung my arms around his neck. He staggered backwards, clearly shocked. "Um...hi?" He choked with laughter as I just squeezed him tighter. "What's all this for?"
"Everything." I replied, stepping back and glancing up at him. "Everything that you've done."
Luke just shrugged, slipping his phone into his pocket. "Soph, I've done sod all these past few weeks."
I rolled my eyes, poking at his belly. "Sod all?" I repeated. "You suggested bringing me on tour, you took me to Disney Land, you took me on the most amazing date ever, and now you're standing here in the middle of Venice telling me that you've done sod all?"
Luke grinned, grinding his teeth on his lip piercing. "Well, maybe I have done a little bit..."
"A little bit?" I mimicked, my voice rising with emotion. "Luke, this has been the best summer of my life! You won't believe how many of my dreams that you've made come true." I stopped as my eyes began to well up. "Thank you so much."
