Hey guys! I'm back from my holiday! I'll tell you all about it in the A/N , but first here's that extra long chapter I promised you! Enjoy!
Picnics And Chick Flicks
The morning sun brushed against my eyelids as I finally woke up. I glanced over at the clock. 7.32. That was fine by me, I'd had enough sleep. I sighed and stretched, but someone hard and warm pressed against my back stopped me. I froze. What was it?
I peered down under the covers. An arm. Luke's arm. Holy crap. I'd completely forgotten that I was sharing a bed with him. I'd completely forgotten about my mini meltdown last night, and how he sang to me as I drifted off to sleep. Oops.
I slowly and carefully shifted my weight. Luke stirred behind me, but lifted his arm from around me. I gently flipped over to face him. He was still asleep, thank God. His arms were wrapped around himself as his hair fell down and covered his face. I sat up slowly and reached out to stroke his arm with the back of my hand. Damn, this boy couldn't get any cuter, especially when he was asleep.
I glanced around at the room. The balcony curtains fluttered in the morning breeze. Ashton seemed to be still asleep, I could see his bed head from the other side of the room. Michael was buried under the covers in the top bunk, and Calum had his back to me. Looks like I was the first one awake. Well, that made a nice change.
I wriggled out from under the covers and crawled to the bottom of the bed. I tiptoed across the room carefully, trying hard not to wake anyone up. At this rate, I had time to get ready in peace. Result!
I scooted into the bathroom and shut the door behind me. As I splashed my face with cold water and untangled my hair from its messy bun, I realized that today was our last full day in Paris. The thought of it made me sad. Paris was a beautiful place, and I'd had so much fun here. But as I climbed into the shower and began to wash my hair, I realized that our next stop was Spain, plus it was my birthday in two days!
When I'd finished my shower, I wrapped a towel around my hair and stood in front of the mirror. Hmm. What to do today? We were going to the park this afternoon, and judging by the weather it was going to be warm. So I needed something...summery.
I finally settled on my white and pink Converse top and my light and short denim dungarees play-suit. I slipped my white lacy socks onto my feet with my brand new white and baby pink Air Max 95. I absolutely loved them.
Now, makeup and hair. I chose my lightest concealer and BB cream. I carefully applied my thin winged eyeliner and voluminous mascara, finishing the look off with my peach flavoured Baby Lips. I blow-dried my hair and curled it in loose waves, then styled it half up and half down, Ariana Grande style. I quickly brushed my teeth and whipped my IPhone out, taking a quick sneaky selfie. I posted it on Instagram, saying, "Sneaky morning selfie! All boys are still asleep. Last day in Paris today, then off to Spain!"
Instantly I got hundreds of likes, and comments on how pretty I was. Bleaurgh. Whatever.
I slipped out of the bathroom and stuffed all of my toiletries into my suitcase. Surprisingly, the boys were still fast asleep. Well, it looked like McDonald's breakfast for us! I grabbed my purse from the dressing table and quietly slipped out of the room.
I bounded down the winding stairs and nearly crashed into Cassandra. She looked pretty anxious, but her face brightened when she saw me. "Good morning Sophie! You look very pretty today."
"Thanks Cassie, you too. I was just going to stop by the McDonald's across the road, grab some breakfast before..." I stopped when I saw panic painted across Cassie's face. "Are you okay?"
