I'm back to school now. Am I happy? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA hell no
Amnesia
I woke up to the sound of heaving breathing next to me. Correction, I was dragged outta my sleep by my pounding headache. It was like someone had hit me around the head with a baseball bat several times, all the little cogs whirring inside my brain. I groaned, forcing my eyelids open, causing my head to spin terribly. When the world had finally stopped moving, I squinted my eyes open and I spotted what, or who was making the heavy breathing. A very familiar blonde boy, sitting right next to my bed.
"Luke!" I wailed, throwing my pillow over my head. "Were you watching me sleep?" The pillow was immediately lifted off my face, and Luke threw it over to the other side of the bed. "Not really." He answered in a low monotone. He sounded tired. He looked tired.
I bundled myself up in my covers and rubbed my eyes. "Well anyway, have you like, attacked me or something? Because my head is about to split." I stopped rubbing my eyes and glanced at my hands. They were covered in black. It looked like eyeliner...
"To spare you the very long story," Luke yawned and stretched. "You got drunk last night and decided to pass out on me, so I had to carry you up here." My mind started racing, and I suddenly remembered it all. I was dancing, when I told Luke that I...
"Did you mean it?" Luke interrupted abruptly, like he read my thoughts. "Did you mean what you said last night?"
At that point, I wished that I had woken up with amnesia, so that I couldn't remember it. But I did. And he knew I did. "How long have you been watching me?" I desperately changed the subject, although I already knew the answer to that question. The dark circles under his eyes and the fact that he was wearing the same clothes as last night gave it away. He'd been here for a pretty long time.
"Soph." Luke said in a stern tone. "You're not answering me." He looked up at my eyes. "Did you mean what you said?"
I pondered the thought for a moment, before making a safe decision. "No." I said defiantly, and Luke glanced at the floor. "I mean, people say stupid things when they're drunk, right?"
"Right." Luke repeated coldly, standing up and walking to the door. I huffed a sigh and rolled over, snuggling into my top. My top...wait. No it wasn't. This was a shirt...Luke's shirt.
"Luke!" I blurted before he could disappear behind the door. He poked his head around hopefully. "Hmm?" I plucked at my...his top, and he broke out into a cute little smile, his dimples plastered across his cheeks. "Like I said, long story."
I glanced over at my dressing table and saw my white beach dress, and when the reality suddenly hit me, I dropped my head down into my lap in horror. Luke Hemmings had stripped me.
After having a quick wash, cleaning up my face, managing to tame my wild hair into a messy bun and taking a few paracetamol, I slipped into my swimming costume and my navy blue play suit, before starting to pack the last few little bits of my stuff. I was going home tonight. I couldn't believe it. When I'd finally finished packing, I stood out on my balcony, looking out at the view of the Spanish coast in the distance. I wanted to cry, I really did. This summer had been the best one yet, and probably the best summer I'd ever have. It was my dream come true, its not every day that you get to accompany your favourite band on tour. And even better, to get the chance to fall in love with your favourite member.
"Are you sober now?" A voice chuckled from behind me, and I didn't have to turn around to realize who it was. "Yes Ash, I'm completely fine."
"I don't believe that." Ashton came and stood next to me, leaning on the balcony and studying my face. "Apart from a hangover headache, I can tell there's something wrong." I looked at him for a moment, before tearing my gaze away and resting it back on the horizon. "I'm going home tonight, and back to school next week." I heaved a deep sigh. "I'll go back to reality."
