Two weeks have passed now since Andy and I had broken up. He had stopped contacting me after the one fight in the hallway, and there was absolutely no signs of him at school. Our teachers had stopped calling his name for attendance after the first week, and it was like he never existed in the first place.

Andy did however come into my dorm a week or so ago. I was fast asleep, however I woke up the next morning to a note on my side table. In his chicken scratch hand writing, it was a small love letter saying once more how sorry he was for the pain he had caused.

On top of the letter, however, was the ring that I gave back to him. I remembered turning it around in my hand, having a mental debate with myself. It was just so unexpected and threw my entire day off.

"What did you get on our last project? Dickhead gave me a C+ when I know it was way better than that." Damien grumbled, taking a sip of his coffee. Damien complained about our design teacher almost every single day, claiming that he gave him a hard time for no reason.

"I got an A." I giggled.

He rolled his eyes. "Of course."

"What!" I laughed.

"He likes you." Damien teased, poking at my arm. I rolled my eyes and swatted his hand away from my arm. Ever since Andy and I split, Damien was always by my side. He was half worried about Andy coming back and trying something, but also more worried about me and my mental health. That of course was crumbling fast.

Damien glanced down at my arm. He slid his hand on the table and tugged a little higher at my sleeve, asking what happened. Quickly, I pulled my sleeve down all the way and shot him an angry glare as I said, "Nothing."

"I'm sorry," He sighed, dropping it.

"So why did you—?" I started to talk but my phone buzzed, interrupting me mid sentence. I glanced down and saw a number I was not familiar with show up on my screen. I unlocked it and answered with a questionable hello.

"Hi Snow." It was Amy.

"Oh, Hi Mrs. Biersack." I said politely. Damien arched both brows at me in surprise and I shooed him off, saying it was okay. Damien leaned back and sipped his coffee, watching intently.

"I'm so sorry if I'm bothering you. I just really needed to speak to you." She said softly. Her tone of voice sounded worried and full of concern, and I asked her if everything was okay. Damien leaned forward a bit, pricking his ear up. "Yes I'm fine, however we— well, we're worried— about Andy."

"Is he alright?" She asked.

"I— well, we actually—"

"I know you two split. Ashley called me the other night, which is why I'm calling you." Amy's voice grew even more worried, and it was as if she was afraid now. I let a soft oh escape from my lips in response. "He told me he's been— back to his old ways. I know he has the guys to help him and all, but— you're the only person I've ever seen him to keep him calm."

"I haven't seen him in weeks."

"Could you maybe check on him?"

Damien shook his head no.

I sighed. "I don't know—"

"Please, Snow. I don't want to lose my son again like I did before. I'm not asking for you to get back together with him, considering I don't even know what happened." She added lightly. She let out a long sigh, pausing before she spoke again. As soon as she did, I could hear the pain in her voice as she whispered, "Please just talk to him. Make sure he's alright. I don't want that inner beast or whatever it is to take control of his life again. Please."
