Andy took me back to his place for the night soon after we finished our talk. The entire car ride he had his hand clamped to my thigh, never letting it go.
Walking in the front door, Andy set his bag down as did I and lead me into the kitchen. Surprisingly, the boys weren't sitting at the table as they usually were. Andy asked if I was hungry and I shook my head, leaning against the counter.
Andy grabbed a granola bar from the pantry and flicked his head up, telling me to head upstairs with him. I walked back over to grab our bags and headed up the stairs, Andy trailing not far behind me. We walked down the hallway and rounded the corner, pausing as we heard someone in his room.
He furrowed his brows and pushed past me, slowly opening his door. Andy folded his arms over his chest and arched a brow, clearing his throat. All four of the boys' heads snapped up, giving the same sheepish smile. They all set down the gaming controllers.
"Oh, you're home." Ashley said.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"Well, we uh—"
"Don't you have an XBOX?" Andy asked.
"Your room is nicer." Jake said.
Andy rolled his eyes and told them to get off his bed. They all looked at one another and back at him. Ashley folded his arms over his chest, followed by the rest of them. Andy glanced at me and I smirked, shrugging my shoulders. A grin tugged at his lips.
Andy let out a loud roar and they all scrambled to their feet, standing on the ground. He smirked with pride as he looked at me, and I ruffled his hair a bit before sitting down on his bed. Andy sat beside me.
"Well I guess you're back to your cheerful self, aren't ya?" Jake muttered, arching a brow. Andy looked at me and smiled, nodding his head. He pulled me close and kissed the top of my head.
"I take it you two are good?" CC asked.
I nodded. "All good."
"So exactly what happened?"
Andy rolled his eyes, letting out an angry sigh. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his legs as he spoke. He told them everything— from start to finish. Andy told them about Scout and what I figured out about her from the memory.
As soon as Andy mentioned it, Ashley looked at me. His brows were up and I slowly nodded my head. Andy took note of it, asking what happened. "Well, before you two left for college, Snow had this— this dream about Scout and you."
"She had black eyes every time I saw her, and she was with you the entire time." I said softly, looking at Andy. Andy asked if that was the dream I was upset over that one time, and I nodded my head slowly. Andy let out a sigh and put his arm around me, giving me a light squeeze as he rubbed my arm with his thumb.
"So Jason is also back?" Jinxx asked.
We both nodded. "Sadly."
"So he turned Scout?" Ashley asked.
Andy shrugged. "We're not sure."
"That's what I think." I muttered.
Andy looked at me, arching a brow. I shrugged my shoulders and let out a sigh. The boys all held shocked expressions, murmuring to one another as they tried to figure this out for themselves. Ashley was about to speak up when my phone rang.
I answered quickly. "Hello?"
"Snow! Are you okay?" Damien's worried voice shouted on the other end of the phone. I let out a sigh of relief— I had totally forgotten to call or text him after everything.
