"Damn," Ashley said as he leaned against the counter. The boys had went out for a hunt however Ashley stayed behind to wait for me to come back. When I stumbled through the door with Andy draped over my shoulder, he quickly helped heave him up into his bed.
Andy had knocked out in the car as soon as I sat him down. I think the immense pain and the drunkenness really hit him hard. He'd been upstairs now for an hour, and I had been downstairs explaining everything to Ashley.
"What you did was stupid." Ashley said with a light laugh. I rolled my eyes and smacked his arm, saying that he always said that when referring to me. He shrugged his shoulders. "Throwing yourself in between a bunch of beasts? Stupid."
"Shut up." I laughed.
"Why'd you do that?"
"Because Andy needed help. He was on the ground in pain." I said softly, rubbing my arm as I looked at the ground. Did everyone just think I didn't care about him still? It's not that easy to just upright forget someone.
He sighed. "Thank you."
"Nothing to thank me for."
"No really, thank you." Ashley said softly. I shrugged my shoulders in response. He asked if I was going to stay until he woke up, and I wasn't sure if I should. "I'll go take care of his injuries now while he's asleep, but I might go."
He nodded his head. I left the kitchen and headed up the stairs, rounding the corner. Opening up the closet in the hall, I grabbed their medical kit and slowly walked over to Andy's room. The door was barely open, and I slowly pushed against it. Walking inside, I was shocked to find an empty bedroom.
His sheets were thrown off onto the floor, leaving his bed a mess. The window was open, allowing a cold breeze to come in. Quickly, I ran over to it and shut it. I furrowed my brows, wondering where he went. Then, I heard the door slam downstairs. My eyes went wide as I heard Ashley yell, "Where the hell did you come from?"
"Had to grab a bite." Andy growled, stomping up the stairs. Without hesitation, I quickly ran to the corner of his room, sliding myself behind the door. I clamped my hand over my mouth as I heard his foot steps growing closer.
"Where?" Ashley shouted.
"The woods." He snapped.
"That blood does not smell like animal blood Andy." I heard Ashley's voice growing closer as well. He must've been following him up the stairs. Andy grumbled something as he entered the room, and I felt my body go numb as I saw his shadow on the floor.
"Andy look at me!" Ashley burst into the room, opening the door even more and pressing my body against the wall. I couldn't see whether or not he was looking or not, however I could hear him growling in anger. "You need to get yourself under control."
"Why? Who cares?" Andy snapped. His words were slurring just a bit, indicating he was still drunk from earlier.
"We all do!" Ashley snapped back.
Andy laughed. "Right."
"So does Snow." Ashley's voice dropped a bit as he said my name. There was a silent pause, followed by a loud thud as the wall shook. I looked to my side and saw Ashley shoved against the dresser. Andy's hand was wrapped around his neck.
"That's—a—lie." He growled.
"She saved your ass!" Ashley snapped.
"Get out—now." Andy growled. Ashley opened his mouth to protest but Andy let out a loud roar, scaring even Ashley. He looked at him in utter surprise as Andy released him from his grip, and slowly backed out of the room.
