"I'm nervous." Andy said softly, stepping up onto the front porch. I nudged him in the arm and told him to calm down. Andy gave me a look before ringing the doorbell.

A few moments passed before the door swung open, revealing a tall, pale boy. He was just a hair or two shorter than Andy, however he had more build than Andy. Andy was on the scrawnier side, where as he had more muscle.

The boy's brown eyes flickered from mine to Andy's, and I watched a smile tug at his lips as he saw him. "Andy?"

Andy cracked a smile. "Hey Matt."

Andy opened his arms to Matt and embraced him in a tight hug. Matt patted him hard on the back, holding onto him for a few moments before pulling away with a smile. "Man I haven't seen you in years. Here, come in."

Matt stepped back into the house and gestured for us to follow. We stepped inside and I shut the door behind me, taking my shoes off before following them. He led us into the kitchen where he told us to sit down.

"I'm sorry I never introduced myself properly. I'm Matt, and you are?" Matt asked, extending a hand out to me before I sat down. I shook his hand with a soft smile. "I'm Snow."

"Nice to meet ya." He laughed.

"I uh heard what happened, Matt. I'm so sorry for your loss." Andy said with a soft sigh, looking over at him. Matt gave a half smile and nodded his thanks, dropping it all together.

He sat himself down across the table from us and leaned forward a bit. "I didn't know you were back in town again!"

Andy arched a brow. "Again?"

"Yeah, the whole neighborhood knew you came home the first time." He said with a light laugh, shaking his head. "Your mom could not stop talking about it. Called up my mom one day and was crying saying her son came back."

I watched his face light up. He still has that fear of being hated by them in the back of his mind. Andy's grown more comfortable with them as have they, but he's always on edge.

"Where did you go anyways? One day we're hanging out like always. Next day you just— disappear?" Matt added with a light laugh.

"My aunt wasn't doing so well, so I moved out by her to take care of her." Andy said with a half shrug. He was lying through his teeth so easily it was shocking. "Then I moved out onto my own and went to school in Chicago."

"Andy Biersack? In college?" He teased.

"It's true I swear." Andy laughed as he leaned back in the chair. He stretched out his back and reached into his pocket, pulling out a pack of cigarettes.

He placed one between his lips and offered Matt one as well as me. I shook my head no but Matt took one quickly. They lit up and took a long drag before speaking again.

Matt's eyes shifted over to me. "Now how did Andy manage to get such a pretty girl like yourself?" He asked with a light smirk.

Matt's eyes then shifted to meet mine. He looked me up and down, and let out a half chuckle. I let out a light laugh as well and fiddled with my thumbs for a moment as I looked at the ground. "No clue. Things just happen for a reason I guess?"

"How'd you two meet?" He asked.

"We went to school together." Andy said.

"Andy Biersack? Showing up at school? I don't believe it." Matt laughed, shaking his head. Andy shot him a glare, claiming he attended school even back when he was younger, causing Matt to laugh even harder.
