"How'd you sleep Snow?" Amy asked from the kitchen as she put the dishes away. We woke up a bit earlier than everyone and decided to make breakfast for them.
"I slept well thank you!" I replied.
"And you Andrew?"
"Slept fine mom." Andy chuckled, not even phased by her calling him Andrew. It wasn't an issue anymore. It was a habit for her to call him that, and he was used to it again.
We laid on the couch in the living room watching television. Chris shuffled downstairs as he buttoned up his shirt. "Amy, do you know where my shoes are?"
"Should be in the closet."
"Where are you guys going?" I asked.
"We're going out for drinks and lunch with some of Amy's work friends." Chris said as he rummaged through the closet. I nodded my head in response and turned back to the television, resting my head on Andy's shoulder.
Andy seemed awfully quiet. He was a bit grouchy with me this morning, and he barely touched his food. I sat myself up and glanced at him. He let out an angry sigh and shut his eyes for a moment, scrunching his face.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah just— don't feel good." He muttered.
"Look at me."
Andy turned his head to face me. His eyes were very dull and his cheeks were sunken in a bit. He looked much paler than usual, and overall just exhausted. I grabbed his arm and hoisted him off of the couch. "Well I hope you two enjoy yourselves. I'm not feeling too good so I think we're going to take a nap."
"Oh alright! We should be back before you two leave darling." Amy said with a smile. Andy and I returned the smile and headed upstairs.
I dragged Andy into his room and shut the door behind me. Andy sat on the edge of the bed and let out a sigh as he dragged his hands down his face. "Come on."
"What?" He asked.
"Time to feed." I said softly, putting my hair up in a ponytail. Andy grimaced and looked away, shaking his head no. "Andy you can't fight me every single time on this."
"Yes I can." Andy muttered.
"Well it just makes it more difficult."
"Snow I don't want to—"
"You have to Andy. You look dead— well, more dead than usual." At that, he let out a low chuckle as he glanced at me. I couldn't help but laugh as well. "You don't feel good because you haven't fed. And you feeling shitty makes you snippy with me and I'm not dealing with it."
"Oh— fuck. I'm sorry." He whispered.
I laughed. "It's okay. Just feed— please?"
Andy pouted again and I gave him a glare. Letting out an angry sigh, he nodded his head and I sat myself down next to him. I turned so my back was to him and felt his cold hands grip my shoulders.
"I'm sorry." He murmured softly, and then sunk his fangs deep into my throat. I bit my tongue and swallowed hard as I felt the pain wash over my body.
He held a firm grip as he swallowed each time. A few moments passed before I started to feel dazed, and my eyelids started to drop. I swallowed hard as I breathed out, "Alright Andy that's— that's enough— Andy."
Andy swallowed once more before removing himself from my neck. I felt my body start to lean forward a bit and I propped myself up with my arm as I caught my breath.
