The next day, KO and Y/n went to work, but something was wrong. There was a silence between the two. The tension was so thick you could've actually seen it.
They walked inside the store, and the others instantly felt the awkwardness. Enid looked at the two and raised an eyebrow.
"You guys okay?" She asked.
"We're fine..." Y/n said, looking at the floor.
"You don't seem fine. I can tell something's up between you two." Enid said.
"Nope. We're perfectly fine." Y/n repeated, getting annoyed. KO sighed. He places a hand on her shoulder.
"Well, Rad asked me if I wanted to go play a new game in the arcade. I'll see you later, Y/n..." He said as he walked away. Y/n closed her eyes and looked down.
Once KO was gone, Enid looked at Y/n. She walked up to her and sat on her knees in front of her.
"What's wrong, Y/n?" Enid asked.
"It's nothing. I'm just... Kind of upset because KO got a new friend..." Y/n said as she rubbed her arm.
"Are you jealous of them?" Enid smirked, but it disappeared as Y/n explained why.
"I guess... I'm just afraid of losing KO. He's all I have. It he stopped giving me attention for even the shortest time, he might stop giving me attention all together. I really don't want that to happen." She explained.
"Y/n, KO isn't going to leave you. You're his friend. He's always going to stay with you. Trust me, KO would never want to leave you." Enid said as she hugged Y/n. "C'mon. Why don't you come help me organize some stuff while Rad and KO are away?"
"Okay. Sure." Y/n smiled as she walked with Enid, off to help her.

"Mr. Gar! Mr. Gar!" Rad and KO called as they ran up to him. Mr. Gar turned to them.
"What is it?" He questioned.
"We found this cool game called 'The Face Of Fear'! It helps you face your fears and raise your fear resistance! See how high ours is?" Rad said as he showed Mr. Gar their POW Cards.
"10? 15? Psh!" Mr. Gar pushes them away. "I never needed videos game to help me get past my fears!"
"I bet your fear resistance is pretty high, Mr. Gar..." KO said.
"It's probably through the roof by now. I haven't checked it in a while since I left POI-- I-I mean what's the point in checking when I'm not afraid of anything?" Mr. Gar chuckled. He pulled out his POW Card and looked at it. "8?!"
"8?!" The others exclaimed.
"Well, I haven't updated it in a while... I guess I probably should..." Mr. Gar said.
"So then you'll play the game?" KO asked. Mr. Gar sighed.
"Okay, fine. Let's go." He said. KO smiled and led them out. He obliviously grabbed Y/n's hand and ran ahead, completely forgetting the tension from this morning.
They made their way inside the arcade. KO gasped and pointed to a machine.
"There it is!" He exclaimed.
"The Face Of Fear!" Enid said, adding a dramatic effect to it.
"Pfft. Kids and their silly videos game." Mr. Gar said as he turned the levels up all the way to the hardest one.
"Uh, Mr. Gar, I don't--" Enid began but got cut off.
"I'll be fine. This is probably nothing." Mr. Gar said. He put the helmet on and laid down on the chair. The game began, and not even moments passed before he showed signs of fear and panic.
"I-Is Mr. Gar okay? Should we help him?" KO asked.
"We should, but it says here that if you unplug him, he'll go into a coma." Enid said as she pointed at a panel. The panel suddenly came off, revealing Dendy inside. "Oh my Gar!" Enid gasped as she pulled her hand away.
"I may be of assistance." Dendy said as she pulled herself out of the hole. "I can hook someone up to Mr. Gar's helmet, letting them into his fear space to help him."
"I can do it. Hook that baby up to me." Rad said. He sat down on the ground, and Dendy places the helmet on him. She typed something into her computer.
"You should be in..." She finished typing up everything and pressed a button. "Now!"
Seconds passed, and he began showing signs of fear and panic as well. Enid sighed and sat down next to Rad.
"Hook me up to Gar so I can help them." Enid said.
"I cannot do that. Mr. Gar only has one plug in, which Rad is using. You'll have to go into Rad's fear space in order to help them." Dendy said.
"All right, yeah, fine. Just hurry." Enid said. Dendy places another helmet on her, and typed something into her computer. She pressed a button, activating it.
She, too showed signs of fear and panic. She held up a sign that said 'Stuck. Please don't unplug. Tysm.'.
"I guess I'll have to go in." KO said.
"KO, it's going to be hard. You'll need to face A kid's fear before going into Rad's. Once you face Rad's, all of you will be able to help Mr. Gar." Dendy said.
"C-Can Y/n go in with me?" KO asked. Dendy thought for a moment.
"I may be able to get you both in together." She said. She placed helmets on the two, using wires to connect them both. She typed something in and activated it, sending them both in.
They opened their eyes and found themselves in a dark room. KO took a couple steps, looking around before candles around them lit up the room, revealing three majorly different pictures of Enid. One was wearing a tye dye shirt with glasses and a pony tail. Another had a picture of Enid with her hair down, a blue bandana on, one eye almost covered and a large blue coat on. The last one in the middle showed Enid having braids, braces, a witch's hat and a cloak.
"Woah, is Enid scared of herself?" KO wondered aloud. "Huh. I guess even the coolest kids can seem kind of dorky--"
He was cut off by the Enids in the picture coming to life. They crawled out and glared at him.
"Did you just call us dorky?!" They shouted. KO fell over, startled. Y/n quickly lifted him up and pulled him back, backing away from the Enids. "Don't call us dorky, ya big toot!"
"Y/n, you're the smart one! What are we supposed to do?!" KO exclaimed.
"Uh... Uh... I-If Enid is scared of herself and these are parts of... These must be the parts about herself she doesn't like!" Y/n said.
"Right! U-Uh, left Enid!" He looked to the ninja one. "I think you're trying become a great ninja. You're doing good." He said. Left Enid's eyes widened as she blushed.
"Oh. Thanks." She smiled.
"Right Enid!" Y/n turned to the cool one. "It seems like you're trying to be cool. It's working really well. It always works on us!"
"Well shucks." Right Enid smiled, rubbing the back of her head.
"Middle Enid." KO turned to the middle one. "It seems like you're dark and broody." Middle Enid cussed at him. "W-Which is a good thing! It adds mystery to you!"
"Aw, thanks! Hey, these guys aren't so bad!" Middle Enid said as they backed into the pictures. "Have a punch-tastic day!" They said as they froze in place.
"Heh. We should compliment Enid more often." KO said. The floor began glowing as a door opened.
"That must be the way into Rad's fear space." Y/n said. KO grabbed her hand.
"C'mon. Let's go help Enid." He smiled at her. They jumped into the door, into Rad's fear space.
