"What am I supposed to do?! She hates me now, and she'll never talk to me again!" KO sobbed.
"KO, you live together. You're going to have to speak with each other again sometime or another. And then you can tell her what you meant to say." Enid said.
"Yeah, man. Just apologize to her tonight. I bet by tomorrow, you two will be dating!" Rad said.
The doors of the bodega opened, and Carol walked in. She looked at KO and frowned, noticing he had been crying.
"Aw, KO, what's wrong?" She asked as she scooped him up into her arms.
"I said something really bad to Y/n, and now she hates me!" KO said, on the verge of crying again.
"Hates you? Well what did you say?" Carol asked.
"I accidentally said I didn't want to be friends with her anymore..." KO sniffed.
"Well you can apologize to her once we get home. Y/n came to the dojo about twenty minutes ago and told me she was walking home. So I guess you'll have to wait to talk to her." Carol said. "It's time to go now. Say bye to your friends." She said as she turned to the door. KO waved to Enid and Rad. They waved goodbye as Carol walked outside.
Thunder booked from above. The sky was dark, thick with storm clouds. Rain began pouring down.
"Uh oh. Looks like it's gonna storm. I hope Y/n got home." Carol said as she looked up at the sky.
She placed KO in the front seat of the vehicle and got in on the other side. She started it, and pulled out of the parking lot.
On their way home, the storm grew worse, lightning lighting up the sky. The rain became heavier, and it was foggy out. Carol could barely see ahead.
"This storm is getting bad..." KO mumbled.
"The forecast said that it would be raining like this for a couple days. But that's not too long. We can stay home tomorrow if we need to." Carol said.
As they were driving, KO could have sworn he saw someone walking on the other side of the road, but it was too foggy to tell.
"Hey, mommy, did you see that?" KO asked. Carol shook her head.
"I can't see anything right now..." She said, watching the road to make sure they didn't slide right off it.
KO looked back one last time, the lightning lighting up the the sky. He saw a small figure struggling to walk down the road. But they disappeared in the fog as they drove further.
KO shrugged it off, thinking it was probably just a trick of the light or a tree. He looked out the window, closing his eyes to rest.

They arrived home later on, and the storm hadn't gotten better. Carol opened the door, immediately being soaked by rain. She fought against the wind to get out, and quickly helped KO out. They rushed inside, and closed the door.
Carol looked around the house. It was dark and empty. She gasped.
"Oh no. Y/n hasn't gotten home yet. She must've been caught in the storm!" Carol exclaimed.
"What?! Are we gonna go after her?!" KO asked as he followed his mom, who was grabbing some things. She pulled on a yellow raincoat.
"Do you wanna leave her out there?" Carol asked as she grabbed an umbrella.
"No. But where do you--" KO cut himself off in realization. The shadow they had passed, that was Y/n. "Mom, I think I saw her while we were driving home."
"How far away was it from the house?" Carol asked.
"I'm not sure. It was probably--" Before KO could finish, the door swung open, letting in rain, leaves, dirt, and Y/n. She stumbled in, completely soaked and dirty. She quickly closed the door and looked at them, chuckling nervously.
"Hey, guys... Guess you got home before me... I'm gonna go change..." Y/n said as she backed down the hallway and into another room.
"Well, at least she's okay..." Carol mumbled.
"Yeah..." KO said quietly.
KO knocked on his bedroom door. It creaked open, revealing Y/n.
"Oh. KO... Uh... Come in..." Y/n mumbled. KO stepped in and noticed there was a sleeping bag on the ground.
"Is someone coming over?" He asked.
"Oh, no... I'm just sleeping on the floor so you can have your bed all to yourself..." Y/n said as she climbed into it. KO sighed.
"Y/n, you can still sleep up here if you want..." KO said.
"I'm fine..." Y/n said as she turned over.
There was a sudden clicking sound, and the electricity went out. The room was pitch black. Y/n groaned in annoyance.
She stood up and walked into the living room, KO following. It was dark in there, too.
"Sorry, kiddos. Guess the power went out." Carol said as she lit a candle.
"When do you think it will be back?" KO asked.
"Probably tomorrow or the day after if the weather forecast was right and this continues on till tomorrow night." Carol said. "You two should get in bed. It's late, and you might have to go to work tomorrow if this storm calms."
"Okay..." KO said as he turned to go back to his room, Y/n behind him.
KO laid down in his bed, and Y/n laid down in her's. They didn't say a word to each other as they both eventually drifted into a deep sleep.
~~~
Y/n woke up in the middle of the night to see someone lifting her up. They carefully placed her in KO's bed. She noticed KO wasn't there.
There was a flash of lightning, and Y/n caught a glimpse of spiky hair. She instantly realized who it was.
"Tko?" She mumbled. He gasped, not realizing she was awake.
"Oh... You're awake..." He muttered. He sat down next to Y/n.
"How did you get out?" Y/n asked.
"KO was asleep, so he wasn't in control. I took the chance to come out and... See you again..." He said.
"That's nice, but... Don't you think that'll tire KO out?" Y/n questioned. Tko scoffed.
"Who cares? It's not like you care for him anymore. He said he doesn't want to be friends with you anymore." He said.
"So? I still care for him..." Y/n said. Tko sighed and looked at the floor.
"He likes you, you know..." Tko mumbled. Y/n's eyes widened.
"Like... 'Like' likes me?" She asked. Tko nodded.
"Yep. He's got a huge crush on you." He said.
"Huh... Well then I guess I can tell him I like him, too..." Y/n said. Tko's eyes widened in shock as he looked at Y/n.
"You like him back?!" He exclaimed.
"Of course I do... Why?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.
"Because... B-Because I like you, too! You can't be with both of us." Tko said as he crossed his mind.
"Tko... You and KO are pretty much the same person... I'm pretty sure I can..." Y/n said.
"It's not fair..." Tko mumbled. Y/n chuckled and wrapped her arm around him.
"It'll be fine. It's not like we're never going to see each other again. You're apart of KO. He can't ignore you and leave you trapped in there." She smiled. Tko sighed and smiled back, wrapping his arms around her. He leaned back, laying down next to her.
"Goodnight, Y/n..." He mumbled.
"Goodnight, Tko..." Y/n said as she hugged him closely. She closed her eyes, eventually falling asleep again.
