Chapter Eleven

Eleven is best number because Eleven is best character and if you don't know what I'm talking about, you're missing out.

Also I can't write dance scenes so I'm just gonna put a time skip there even though it probably won't make sense anyways enjoy.

The party had already started, lots of people had showed up. Nobody was having fun, even some people were arguing over things.

KO was walking around, serving drinks and food. He was kind of nervous, for Y/n still hadn't shown up yet.

"Hey, kiddo!" KO heard his mom. He turned to her. He gasped.

"Mommy! You're beautiful!" He smiled at her. She smiled back and picked him up.

"You look nice, too! So where's your girlfriend?" She smiled widely. KO frowned.

"She's not here yet. And she's not my girlfriend!" He blushed. Carol raised an eyebrow.

"Not here yet? Maybe she's just running a little late. She probably just lost track of time." Carol said. KO nodded.

"Yeah, maybe..." He said.

Suddenly, a portal opened in the sky and a rose fell from it. It opened to reveal Raymond. He gasped.

"People are having a party without me?" He questioned. "No matter. I'm sure it was just a mistake." He said as he raised his arm, laser gun readied. He gasped and lowered his arm. He looked around. The party was completely trashed, as if someone had already been there before him. But it was just that it sucked. "It seems as though someone has already been here." He said. He turned around to leave, but KO stopped him.

"Don't you know a good party when you see one?" He asked. He pulled Rad over. "You're just in time for the dance off!"

"Dance off?" Raymond questioned, smiling. Rad pulled KO away.

"A dance off? What are you thinking?!" He whispered. "It's not on the scroll!"

"Have you been doing everything the scroll says?" KO asked. Rad nodded. "And is this party any fun?"

"No, it's not..." He said. KO turned to Enid.

"DJ Fireball! Turn off that noise and play what's in your heart!" KO said. Enid gasped and pulled out another record, quickly changing the music to something else.

Raymond had lost to Rad, and left the prom. Everyone was having fun now, except for KO, who was upset over Y/n not showing up.

Just as he was thinking about leaving, someone walked in. He gasped.

"Y/n!" KO exclaimed, running up to her. He squeezed her in a hug. "You're here! I thought you would never show up! What took you so long?"

"I took a while to find an outfit... I thought I should wear something fancy since it's a prom." She said gesturing to the dress she wore. It was a light pink dress, with dark pink leggings, white boots, and white gloves.

"It fits you nicely." KO said.

"Yeah. I guess it is nice, even if I don't care for pink." She said. "Um... So what do you want to do?"

"Oh! Uh..." He looked around for something to do. He got a small idea. He turned to her and held his hand out for her. "Wanna dance?" He smiled. Y/n laughed and took his hand. He led her on to the dance floor.

The song had ended. Y/n chuckled and wrapped her arms around KO.

"I didn't know you could dance." She laughed.

"I didn't either. Guess I know now." KO laughed as he rubbed his arm nervously, blushing.

"Yeah... Hey, KO, can I talk to you?" Y/n asked. KO nodded. They walked away from the party, and out where it was quiet. She sat on the ground, KO sitting next to her.

"What is it you wanted to talk about?" He asked.

"You noticed how I've been acting strange lately?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah. You've been kind of mean to Dendy, Enid and Rad. Although, you did ease up on Enid and Rad." KO said.

"Yeah. There's a reason I've been acting like that..." Y/n said. She breathed in and sighed. "To be honest, it's kind of scary to see you make other friends because we've always been best friends. And when you started paying attention to others besides myself, I was scared you would stop giving me attention altogether. You're my best friend, my only friend. You've been around the longest. I don't want to lose you."

"Y/n..." KO frowned. He didn't know Y/n actually felt this way. "I'm not going to leave you. You mean a lot to me, too. I would feel empty inside without you." He smiled softly at her. She smiled back.

She kissed him on the cheek and stood up. KO was blushing madly. She reached her hand out to him.

"You wanna go hang out with the others?" She asked. KO smiled and placed his hand in her's, standing up. They made their way back, going to party before it ended.

This one was shorter than the other chapters. Almost 200 words less.
