Day 6: Date

This chapter is entirely based on the film Life Itself from the scene between Abby and Will

Ryan leans his head on my shoulder as we sit beneath the stars. We sit like this for a while, smiling and just being close. I'm in love with him. I truly want to spend the rest of my life with him and I wanna love him forever. 

"You ever gonna ask me out, Dal?" He suddenly asks. 

"Yep."

"Cool." 

There's a long silence before Ryan stands and begins to walk away.

"I'm waiting because I wanna get the moment right," I say, and Ryan stops. "Because when I ask you out, Ry, I'm not gonna be with anyone else. I'm not gonna date anyone else, I'm not gonna love anyone else, I'm not gonna kiss anyone else, I'm not gonna do anything with anyone else. When I ask you out, I want you to know that I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, so I wanna make sure I get it right."

Ryan smiles, chuckling lightly as he blushes. 

"But it seems the longer I wait, the harder it gets, so..." I walk up to him and grab his hands. "Will you go out with me, Ryan Ross?"

He smiles more. 

"I would love to, Dallon Weekes."
