I got in the house and went to my room. My step-mom and father were both asleep.

I closed the door behind me and turned on the light. I looked around my room.

In the back of my room there was my queen sized bed. There were black sheets and a puffy black comforter on it. My walls were white. Not that you could see the walls. They were covered with posters of my favroite bands and school information I needed.

Next to my bed on both sides were nightstands. There was a lamp on the left one and my clock on the other. There were two drawers on both of them.

On my left wall there was my closet. The closet was filled with my clothes and dresses. Then there was my bookcase. On it was my history books, reading books, and math workbooks. There was also my notebooks. On top of my bookcase was my most precious notebook. It was a blue leather bond notebook that served as my diary.

On my right wall was my desk. There was my laptop with a black cover. Above my desk there was a shelf that contained my knick knacks.

I changed from my party dress into a black tank top and black shorts. I hung the dress up and set my alarm for five in the morning. I got in bed and covered up underneath my comforter. I fell asleep pretty quickly.

I dreamt of William.

All too soon my alarm went off. I pulled myself out of bed and turned off the alarm. I took a quick shower and changed into a black sports bra, black tank top, and black leggings.

I went for a run around town and stopped at the free gym. It was open to the public at any time. Mostly the high school students use it. Sometimes they have various martial arts classes held there for a dollar.

I headed straight for the punching bags. A brunette stopped me.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but the boxing room is closed to the public for the day." She explained.

"Thanks." I mumbled and went to the weight room instead.

There was a old punching bag in that room. It was a sorry thing that moved at the slightest wind. There were patches all over it. But, it was still a punching bag.

I slammed my fist against the bag using the techniques that my fight club friends had taught me. I threw punch after punch but still didn't feel like it was working.

"Hey, Sads. You nervous about the fight?" I heard Madison's voice from behind me.

I turned around. She was standing there wearing a green tank top and some green athletic shorts. Her long brown hair was in a high ponytail.

"A little." I confessed.

This fight was the top girl against the top boy. This was to see who was the alpha fighter.

I fought like a cat. Using my long nails and teeth to disable my opponent before they got a chance to hit me.

Of course, I looked the least hostile of the entire fight club. When I first joined, the leader was hesitant to put me in a match. I won within ten seconds. Once they saw me fight, no one wanted to fight me.

I left my opponents with scars. Almost everyone I've fought was terrified of me. Even some of the boys were terrified of me and I've never fought the boys.

"You shouldn't be nervous. Ani was the top dog until you fought her. If you could take down Ani then you can take down Zackery." Madison encouraged me.

"He knows my fighting style. Knows my tells and my weaknesses." I responded.

"Well, by the looks of how you fought that punching bag, I would say you're ready to fight." Madison sat down on the bench. "Spot me?"

I sighed and walked over to the bench. I spotted Madison.

Soon enough, it was time for the fight. Madison drove me out to the place where I was supposed to fight. I met up with Hadley King. She told me that the head of the club wasn't gonna be at the fight and sent her in his stead.

Then I saw him. Zackery Farse. He was a muscular guy with several scars across his chest. He was proud of his scars and wore no shirts to his fights. He was talking to Sammy.

"Okay, the fight will commence. Everyone gather around or scram. Fighters please report to me." Hadley called.

A few people left. The rest of the people gathered around the fight ring. Zackery and I reported to Hadley.

We were checked for weapons. Then we were in the ring. Before she called the start of the match I spotted William.

He was standing in the back next to Madison. Why was he here? How did he know where the fight was?

Then Hadley called the start of the fight. I pushed the thought of William out of my mind and thought only of the fight. I was too slow and Zackery landed a punch in my gut. I retaliated with slashing my long nails against Zackery's arm. The slash left three long claw marks along his arm that immediately turned scarlet.

Zackery threw his fist and landed a punch in my gut. He repeated the move aiming higher this time. His fist would of landed against my ribs had I not moved away.

The crowd cheered for me. Then I ran and tackled Zackery. I clawed his skin. He screamed in agony when I reopened some of his old scars. I slammed my fist against his temple repeatedly as he struggled against me. After the tenth time my fist struck his temple he went unconscious.

That was enough, I won. The crowd went wild. Cheering my name. I was victorious.

Hadley entered the ring and held my hand up.

"I present to you, the alpha fighter!" Hadley called.

The cheers grew louder. I looked to the back of the crowd and spotted William. He looked disappointed. Why did he look like that?

Hadley handed me a wad of cash. It was about a hundred dollars. I left the ring and walked over to William.

"What the hell? You never told me you could kick ass." William exclaimed.

"That's not something that usually comes up in everyday conversation." I smiled, still high on the rush of winning.

"I always wondered why you kept your nails so long. Now I know." William smiled.

"You do know you weren't supposed to know about the fight. And you're not supposed to be here." I explained.

"Well, you need a ride home because Madison left." William changed the subject.

"Don't change the subject! How did you know about this place?" I pressed.

"Hadley's my sister-in-law. She has to babysit me today so she took me out here." William explained.

"Alright, Will, let's go before Adrian figures out I'm not at the house." Hadley walked up to William.

She turned to me.

"You know my little brother-in-law?" Hadley inquired.

"We go to the same high school. Thought you knew that." William explained. "And we have to take her home."

I blushed shyly. I didn't like my fighting life to merge with my school life. I had told them that I dropped out of high school.

"I thought you dropped out of high school?" Hadley looked scornfully at me.

"Please don't tell Ace." I implored. "I love fighting. If he finds out I lied he'll kick me out." I begged Hadley.

"Okay, but, don't get Will involved in this club. He's not even supposed to be at this match." Hadley sighed. "What was this I heard about you needing a ride home?"

A/N~ Thank you for reading my second chapter. I've finally figured out my schedule. So I'm gonna edit and publish in the morning plot during school and write after school. So I won't publish tommorow because I'm gonna only write one chapter a day.
