I've been home for a week before I had an episode. I was sitting in my room, working on the big project in my AP phycology class. It was researching a mental disorder. Since I had missed a lot, I was stuck with the mental disorder no one wanted, Schizophrenia.

I had a lot of information about it. One thing I had to do was interview a professional and a person with the disorder. I decided to interview my mother and give her an alias. I would interview my therapist for the professional.

I got the interviews out of the way and just had to write the paper. It was due tomorrow, so I decided to stay up late, writing it. I would often see small figures dancing on my wall. I tried to ignore it as best I could. Then my computer screen turned into a swimming pool and I felt the urge to jump into the clear liquid.

My room changed and twisted until I was standing in a clearing in the forest in front of a pond. I was no longer in my covering black pajamas. I was wearing a white swimsuit that showed off my figure.

"Jump in, water's fine!" A female voice called.

There was a red haired girl in the clear water. She had green eyes and some freckles across her nose and upper cheeks. Her pale pink lips were turned up in a pretty smile, showing off a dimple on her left cheek.

"I don't know you." I muttered.

"I'm Addiline Keegan." She swam over to the edge of the pond and got out of it.

She was in a purple two piece swimsuit. Her bellybutton had a small bar piercing. There was a music note tattoo on her wrist.

"Nice to meet you, Addiline, I'm Sadie Everleigh." I smiled.

"Oh, darling, don't be shy, I already know who you are. We used to best friends don't you remember?" Addiline's smile faded.

"No, sorry." I frowned.

"Well, that doesn't matter, why don't you get in and we can swim. Now, doesn't that sound nice." Addiline smiled again.

She acted like a big sister to me. I felt like I had to do something, but I had no idea what it was. I followed her into the pond. We swam and played for about two hours before I realized what I forgot.

This wasn't real. It was my second world. I had to finish my essay. I shook my head trying to disperse the hallucinations. It wasn't effective. I banged my fists against my head and scratched at my back trying to get out of this world.

"Honey, you need to stop, you're hurting yourself." Addiline said her voice expressing her worry.

"You're not real, none of this is real." I yelled.

I thrashed against invisible restraints. Addiline's beautiful face twisted in concern. That expression didn't suit her at all.

"Sadie! Calm down!" My father's voice sounded, out of nowhere.

The forest scenery changed, slowly, back to my room. I wasn't sitting at my desk I was sprawled out in the middle of my room. My sheets were twisted around my body, restraining me.

Father was standing above me with worry evident on his face. Behind him was my step mother. She was equally as worried.

I disentangled myself from the sheets and put them back on my bed. I sat down. Father sat down next to me.

"Sarah, can you leave us?" Dad asked.

"Yes," my step-mom nodded.

She left my room, closing the door behind her.

"What happened?" Father asked looking directly at me.

"I think I just got too sleep deprived. I have to finish my essay for AP phycology." I explained. "I just went into a different world. There was this girl, her name was Addiline."
