Soon it was the day of the Halloween party. William and I decided to go as pumpkin pie. William wore plain white clothes and decorated them, along with his face and arms, with the numbers of pie. I wore an orange shirt and leggings. My shoes were orange. On my waist I had a tulle orange and black skirt. I painted my face to resemble a pumpkin and wore a orange wig with felt leaves in it.

William thought my creativity was the best. He heard my idea of pumpkin pie and loved it. I came over to his house at five. The party didn't start until nine but Hadley was worried about me and I promised William I'd help set up for the party.

Hadley and Adrien helped set up the party as well. Adrien and William were on the other side of the room and us two girls were at the snack table arranging the various goodies.

"Sadie, are you sure about this?" Hadley asked, worry reflecting in her voice.

"It's the safest option. The longer I delay the worst it'll get for me." I answered, putting on false confidence.

"Safe for who? It's been six days since that incident. Ace will bring you to the brink of death and deny letting you die. You know that just as well as I do." Hadley looked at me.

"For Will, I don't care about what Ace does to me. I just want Will safe. You want him safe too. Remember what you told me when you first found out that we knew each other?" I placed a orange topped cupcake on the table.

"But, you're like a daughter to me. And you know how much Will cares for you. He'll die if he think it'll save you." Hadley put a bag of frosted pretzel on the table.

"He's not that nieve." I frowned at the platter of cupcakes.

"You don't know him like I do. He'll give up anything to protect those he cares for." Hadley said.

"Then I'll make up some excuse so he won't suspect anything. You can keep a secret. You're the only one who knows about my plan besides Madi." I said simply.

"Hadley, can you come over here?" Adrian called to his wife.

"We'll talk after the party." Hadley put the tray of goodie bags down and left.

I continued placing the treats on the table. I arranged the dark purple, black, light green, and orange topped cupcakes to form a pattern. Then I moved on to the treat bags.  There were purple plastic bags of cookies which I knew Hadley baked, orange bags of frosted pretzels, and ghost bags of various pieces of candy.

After that I moved onto the punch and cups. The punch was a green concoction that Adrian made. There were hand shaped ice cubes in it. The bowl was clear with spiders on it. The cups were Halloween themed. Colors of dark purple, light green, orange, and black were prevalent.

Lastly, I set up the table with alcohol on it. Those cups were white. They had little ghost faces on them and said 'More boos, please'. I loved them.

After I finished making sure everything was perfect I walked over to Will, who was setting up the sound system.

"Hello, my little pumpkin." William smiled.

"Will, on Wednesday, Madi's taking me to a super popular store in a different town. It's just supposed to be us girls." I lied.

Well, half lied. Madi was picking me up from school. We just weren't going to a store. We were going to her house.

"Okay," William nodded.

The party went well. I was nervous about my schizophrenia acting up. Halloween was always a hard night for me. I would see creepy skeletons and screaming figures. I could never tell if they were real or fake because of it being the one night when people decorate for the creepy and grotesque.
