Demi;

I was mad and upset that this blind date didn't show up. Did Hailey prank me? Was I just a joke? Did I fall into her trap? I put my napkin down on the table. I grabbed my phone and my purse. Just when I was about to get up, I was interrupted.

"Pardon me, but you haven't seen a blonde that looks like this?" this young man flashed me his phone. I shook my head.

"Um," I was confused about why he was asking me, "no...sorry she stood you up... I know what it feels like." I stood up from my chair.

"You do?" he asked. Why was he being so nosey?

"Well, yeah," I chuckled, "I was supposed to be on a blind date but he never showed up..." the more I stared at this man, the more I recognized him.

"Well fuck, you do understand," he grinned, "that blonde girl was supposed to be my blind date..." he sat down at my table. I just stared at him.

"What are you doing?" I chuckled as I watched him look at the menu.

"Misery loves company," he grinned at me.

"Really?" I was caught back, "you wanna have dinner with a stranger?"

"Might as well make it something," he smiled at me. I hesitantly took his offer and sat back down at the table.

"I honestly think I know what I know after staring at the menu for 30 minutes," he put the menu down.

"I agree," I giggled.

He signaled a waiter to come to our table, "finally!" the waiter sighed.

He ordered first, then I ordered.

"So I'm Joe....I'm actually Prince Joseph..." he shyly said. My mouth dropped.

"Oh my god....that's why you looked some similar!! My roommate would flip out!" I lost all chill then I calm down.

"Sorry..."

He chuckled, "please don't tell her... I don't want anyone to know about this...unless it's serious..." he sighed.

"I won't. Trust me, she wouldn't let me live this down," I giggled, "I'm Demi Lovato. Nothing cool about me except I'm a writer for a magazine..." I shrugged.

"Demetria Lovato..." he said my name a couple times.

"You're the one that was dogging my style! It was you!" he started chuckling.

"You read those types of magazines?" I blushed.

"No, my best friend does and she showed me. I got style, miss!" he chuckled.

"Right now you do," I giggled. He chuckled as his lip touched the glass of his wine.

"Can I just say that the guy who stood you up is so dumb because you're absolutely beautiful," he gave me a full smile.

I blushed a little... more like a lot, "you're just being nice," I took a sip of my wine.

"No, I mean yeah, but I mean it. I don't understand why you need a blind date...," he shrugged. He was being so romantic, I couldn't handle it.

I laughed a little, "it's more like I put work first...so I don't have time to date. What about you? You're like the hottest guy on earth and you got set up on a blind date!"

"You think I'm hot?" he smirked. Just in time, our server placed our meal on the table but Joe kept his eyes on me.

"Thanks," I grinned at the waiter, "I didn't say that I meant that's what all the magazines are saying... I'm just quoting." I took a bite of my food.
