(Loki)

We fell asleep in each other's arms.

She was so soft and warm, I never wanted to let her go. She was strong and delicate at the same time, making me love her so much more.

And she was oh so beautiful.

No one had ever reacted to my touch the way she had, it mesmerized me. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as she let go of herself when I touched her. I wanted to make her feel like that all the time. To make her yell out in pleasure at my touch.

I fell in love with the way her cheeks flushed and the way her body moved when I touched her. I fell in love with the taste and feel of her. I fell in love with all of her.

Never once had I been with anyone who let me have all the control, let me do all the work. It usually was a battle for who had dominance.

This was a whole new game.

I was in charge, I was calling the shots. She let me rule her in a way no woman ever had.

And she liked it. She'd loved it so much that I actually made her cry.

Damn, I'm good.

I woke before she did, but I didn't move. I just stared at her, and rubbed my thumb idly on her back, and smiled to myself.

She'd done so much for me in the past few weeks. She made me feel light and happy, made me feel like I could go on again, put my past behind me. We both had such dark histories, but I felt that, together, we could put them away.

Her eyes fluttered and she looked up at me through dazed eyes.

"Good morning." she mumbled.

I chuckled. "Very good morning." And I kissed her on her forehead. I let go of her and sat up, stretching, and she did the same.

For a moment, she forgot she was naked, and her cheeks flushed when she found me staring. I looked away so as not to make her feel uncomfortable, and she pulled the sheets over her chest.

"Thor is supposed to come by today." I said.

"Do you know if he's found anything out?" she asked as I got up.

I shook my head. "No idea." I started to walk towards the washroom, but turned around, remembering something. "By the way, the other day, I went to see Borin. I sentenced him to a life in prison. I just thought you should know."

"Oh. Alright." She looked up at me, "Well, at least we know he won't come back from the dead and try to kill us." She have me a thumbs up.

I laughed and walked towards the washroom. When I was done, I left Anna by herself and when to the throne room.

When looking outside, I noticed that the skies looked darker than usual.

As soon as Loki left, I got a bath and got dressed.

My head was still spinning from the night before.

And I couldn't stop smiling.

I was dressed in all black, thick pants and a tank top with a black jacket over it. I laced up my boots, put my fingerless combat gloves on and pulled my hair into a high ponytail.

Damn, I looked like a badass.

I was about to leave the room, when something outside of the windows caught my eye. I quickly went over and stepped out on to the balcony.

The wind whipped around my face and carried a stench that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but it wasn't pleasant. I looked up at the sky, dark clouds of purple and black swirling overhead.

There was a storm coming, and we had to be ready for it.
