I sat in the cellar and listened to what was happening upstairs. I heard them talking to Elijah about a way to save Elena from dying. I just rolled my eyes and continued to attempt to contact Nik, no doubt he was busy preparing for tonight though. Eventually, I heard someone opening the door to the cellar. I looked up to see Elijah hurrying me.
"They're distracted, go," I said a quick thank you before rushing out of the house. Running to my car and turning it on as fast as I could as I left the boarding house. I rushed to the motel and locked myself in my room.
Thank you, Elijah, don't know how I can owe you any more than I already do.
You're family, family takes care of each other. Just don't try and find Niklaus tonight. Promise me.
I know what you're planning. I don't like it, but I know better than to get in your way. I'll sit this out.
Thank you.
Just remember, while Nik isn't the best, family does take care of family. I don't think that he would just dump their bodies, especially Bekah, and Kol was always his mischief buddy.
I know, but I do know what I'm doing Little Dove. Stay out of town tonight, your brothers know you're out of the cellar.
Thanks again Lijah.
Anytime Little Dove.
I turned off my phone screen and allowed my eyes to close. As I was about to drift to sleep I heard my phone ding, signaling a text. I sighed as I sat up, expecting it to be one of my brothers.
Any plans tonight Love?
Tonight, yes. Right now no. Why do you have something planned?
Yes, in fact, I was hoping to take you out to dinner before the moon rises.
I have to stay out of the center of town. My brothers are looking for me. I kinda escaped.
Oh? Well, I'm sure I could get something to go and meet you. Shall we meet at our spot?
I'd love that. Just one problem.
What would that be love?
My motel is in the middle of town. I've locked myself in my room.
Then I'll meet you there. Where exactly?
Room 21, on the second floor towards the main building.
I'll be there within the hour.
I smiled as I stood, tossing my phone on the bed after starting my music. As the music continued softly, I walked to the bathroom mirror fixing my hair and adding a few touch-ups to my makeup. My closet seemed full as I looked through all of my articles of clothing, but the most simple outfit I owned consisted of a black wrap off the shoulder crop top and black leggings. I threw on a pair of black suede wedges that gave me a two-inch boost before stepping back over to the mirror and making sure my beachy curls were still neat. There was a knock at the door as I headed back towards my phone to turn it off. I took a small breath and hurried over to the door. The door opened with ease, however, it wasn't Nik standing there as I had expected.
Who do you think is at the door? Also, a new story is coming out tonight, it's gonna have more sporadic updates as I'm trying to make those chapters longer. Despite the amount of time writing it, I like how the story is coming along. So if you want to read another Oc x Klaus fanfic, check it out! I'm also working on an Oc x Kai story as well, it should be out soon, but I want to have a few chapters, and a friend proof it before it gets posted. Watch for the new stories! Bye <3 ~Kat
