I hid on a shelf in the warehouse, my legs dangling from the cold steel platform. I nodded to Rebekah as I saw Nik and Stefan entering. Rebekah sped up to Nik and dug the dagger into his chest. He looked annoyed, but not in much pain, to my own dismay.
Go to hell, Nik," she said with a smirk, before realizing that the dagger had done nothing but caused him minor pain.
"Don't pout, you knew it wouldn't kill me." He chuckled, pulling the dagger out and dropping it to the side as Rebekah took a few steps back turning in the direction she had come from.
"Yeah, but I was hoping it would hurt, more." Nik followed her as she continued walking away. I, however, didn't leave my spot on the shelves, although I couldn't see Stefan anymore.
"I understand you're upset with me, Rebekah, so I'm going to let that go," he smirked, placing a hand on her shoulder, "just this once." His smirk grew as Rebekah glared at him. "I brought you a little peace offering." He looked towards the doorway, nodding for Rebekah to follow his gaze. "You can come in." I then watched as Stefan entered the large room, looking confused and yet solemn, I couldn't help but roll my eye as I hopped off the shelf, silently landing on the floor.
"Stefan," I could hear Rebekah's voice perk up as she saw him, and though I didn't have a clear view anymore I could tell her face had lit up with surprise and joy. Nik walked over to Stefan and compelled him to remember his time in the 20s, I hid behind a row of shelves, now being able to see Stefan's face clearly. I could tell that he was processing the emotions, as the puzzle pieces fell into place one by one, and there was no doubt all his questions as to why Nik had wanted him along were being answered.
The second he snapped out of his trance, he looked over to Rebekah with a small smile. She returned the smile with ease and he took a few steps towards her.
"Stefan," Nik distracted him enough for him to turn around and notice who Nik was, before all the Elena drama. I rolled my eyes at the melodramatic scene played out for a brief moment before Nik focused his attention on Rebekah. "Now for the reason you're here." He brushed past Stefan, making his way to her again. "Gloria tells me you know how to contact the Original Witch."
"The Original Witch?" Her face contorted in disgust.
"What do you have that Gloria needs?" Rebekah reached up to her neck, her face morphing into surprise when she realized her necklace wasn't there. Of course, I already knew where it was, I was holding it against Stefan, something to dangle in front of him if you will.
"Where's my necklace?" Rebekah panicked, it was one of the only things she still had from the old world, something she treasured dearly. "What did you do with it? I never take it off." I looked at Stefan, who was getting antsy.
"I don't know, I didn't touch it." They were quite amusing, acting as most siblings do.
"We need to find it Nik-"
"Tell me that's not what she needs, Rebekah." He grasped her shoulders, causing her face to flicker to one of fear. Rebekah threw his arms off and walked over to her coffin. I took this opportunity to step away from the shelves into the middle of the room next to Rebekah.
"It's not there Bekah," I whispered, she flipped her coffin, smashing it as Nik and Stefan watched. I turned to look at them and glared towards Stefan, who was slowly backing away. "We'll find it," I smiled, walking towards Nik slowly, "I'm sure Gloria can do a locator spell. It does belong to Rebekah after all." My voice dripped with sarcasm, my eyes flickering over to Stefan for but a moment before looking to Rebekah my eyes finally landing on Nik.
Apparently, I missed posting two chapters...So I'm uploading those two and a new one. Sorry! This one is short and the other is as well soooo XD Enjoy the spree ~Kat
