[Skylar’s POV]

(Six months later…)

Soccer season had ended four months ago with Beau and Sam leading the team to the state championship and winning.

They both had college scholarships offers pouring in from everywhere.

Beau had worked hard to bring up his grades and was now sitting at a B average.

I ate lunch every day with the boys again who teased Beau and I to no end.

Beau would always act offended and pissed if they brought our relationship up but secretly, I knew he enjoyed it.

He wouldn’t trade those boys in for the world. “So Sky,” Luke said, grinning at me mischievously as I sat down for lunch, “Do you think you and Beau are going to bang tonight?” He asked, laughing when he saw how red my face turned.

Beau and I were celebrating our half-year anniversary tonight and I wasn’t quite sure what he was planning because he wouldn’t tell me, which irritated me to no end.

I hated not knowing things. The more I thought about it though, the more I think that I’m ready. I’m ready to go all the way with Beau because I trust him and I love him.

I’m not going to tell him this though, these things will happen when they need to. But if something happened tonight, I don’t think I would stop it. “Luke.” Beau said, his eyes flashing with anger and his posture turning defensive, “Shut your mouth before I make you.” I put a hand on Beau’s shoulder to try and calm him down.

“Luke,” I said, leaning forwards to make eye contact.

“Beau and I will eventually ‘bang’, I said, making air quotes with my fingers and ignoring Beau as he shifted around, his face not giving away anything but his eyes sparked with excitement, “But when we do, whether its hours, days, or years, it’s none of your goddamn business,” I said with a smirk on my face as all the boys yelled ‘ooooh!’ in Luke’s face.

I laughed and reached my hand out to Beau. He got up, taking my hand and giving a salute to the boys. We both laughed and ran away from the table.

“Where are we going?” I asked Beau as we ran across the courtyard. Beau didn’t reply but dragged me into an empty hallway and pushed me against a wall.

He leaned forward and started to passionately kiss me.

We broke apart after a minute or so to catch our breaths, “Sorry,” Beau panted, leaning his forehead against mine, “I just couldn’t wait any longer,” he said, giving me a smirk that made my knees weak.

He leaned in again and reattached our lips.

He licked my bottom, asking for entrance, which I denied him with a giggle. He groaned and squeezed my bum, making my open my mouth with a gasp. I could feel his smirk against my lips as he continued to kiss me sweetly.

“Excuse me,” a voice interrupted us, making us pull apart from one another. We turned to see Ms. Cosgrove staring at us with a disapproving look.

“There are school rules against public affection,” she said in a stern tone, handing both of us red detention slips, “Don’t think you can talk your way out of this one Miss. Harrison,” she added with a small grin.

I gave her a nod before turning away from her, holding my hand out to Beau for him to take.

He grinned at me and took it and we both walked away from Ms. Cosgrove, together. When we rounded the corner, I looked back and saw Ms. Cosgrove looking after us with a smile on her face.

Maybe she didn’t have a heart made of ice after all. “Sucks that we got detention,” I said to Beau, swinging our joined hands between us.

“As long as I have it with you, I’ll be okay,” Beau said with a wink and I laughed at his cheesiness.

I started running, pulling Beau along behind me.

“Where are we going?” He asked, laughing. I laughed with him, “Probably to go do something stupid.”

I got a restless leg and restless heart, A restless head ready to depart. I've got a restless soul and restless arms, Well I must keep on moving. Restless eyes I need to dry, When I'm gone girl please don't cry, A restless leg keeps me alive.
