Foggy Moon

Night draws near

With the echo of bells

And the song of the stars

Glittering so clear

-

A lone figure stands before the sea

On a cleft so high

It stretches eternally

Broken only by a lone tree

-

Swathed by a cloak

Fogged by the sea

She kneels by the edge

And out of the mist, a voice spoke

-

Words of shock

Words of comfort

A timeless speech

In the mist and fog

-

And as she spoke

The light of the moon

Shone down on the land

Revealing lands of oak

-

Trees and mountains

Vally's low

No people to call this home

Except for these first founders

-

To bright the night

To work the way

To forged the wilderness

And bring the light

-

The wild beasts

The creatures here

Only know one human

Who they meet

-

Those days end

On a foggy night

Power given

That must extend

-
